Goddess of War: SAINT Run Part 1

  • This is a modded run where magic orbs are worth 40x their value compared to vanilla VH. In other words, the orb value is the same as Athena on Easy, but the difficulty is Very Hard. Also, cost of casting any magic is reduced by 25%.
    As you can tell, the focus of the run is to cast as much magic as possible

      Very well noted. That, is a bug. When I restart with the mod being on my MP suddenly becomes full. So I resort to turning it off, restarting, then turning it on. Inconvenient. Sadly, I noticed this way too late. In chapter 3.

      Saw P4 had a new one. Regarding future intentions, I'd heard you were tinkering with some things behind the scenes. I recall talk of a repeat for this run (if not right away, then later) with NUR(+ **this implies more modding and would much more badly need cheating in Wulf's code**).
      What of SoD focus? I believe there was want for UR/AS (if not also s6/t3). If so, I don't recommend low P% (even default is pushing it). For that, high P% is desired. MAX is required for AS, obviously.
      Since you have SAINT mod, you could also set P% of VH to that of E such that something like DO could be worked to be as it is on VH in all ways except the P% stat is 400% rather than 150%. This would let UR/AS shine just a bit.
      You will find that UR in particular is quite lacking and needs it badly (especially with the degree of bugging out it does). AS less so (and has a bug technique to multi-alter that will be crucial to getting the most of it). The sooner I know your intentions, the sooner I can work around of schedule to somewhat imitate your intention (you would just be doing as I do, but with better results).
      I suppose I would be doing E DO if trying to have the same potency (just that the collisions would again be crap since EP% would take a dive). If you opt out of working your mod for this extreme case, then I would just do VH default, I suppose (making things take longer in exchange for knowing where focus really stands). Granted, both could be done. Just that you're at risk of burning out well before me.

      Refer to the document(s) of Wright on Stinger. Maybe tell Zester to do a video for i-frames in GoWII as a visual guide.

      It does, but not during the full period of the tornado. I frames end before the tornado comes out I believe. You can get hit and the storm can get cancelled.

      NOTE: I'll say it again. TS out while you turn to a statue is a death sentence (it can FF us).
