You forgot the rise version, not the same of world or other. You juste do every attack you can do (O, X and O + X) and you can spamming all notes and do damages in same time. A beautifull spamming weapon

It's an old toy, the saxaboom. It plays small songs depending on what buttons you press. Jack Black just figured out a way to chain them together that really slaps, and that's where this music comes from.
Honestly just remember 2-3 notes that you wanna use like atk up and earplugs/def up and mix them with your combo as you hit the monster, knocking out the nonster after playing your smooth jazz is always such a good feeling

Note that MH1 had buffing horns too (called flutes) not just the monster attracting one seen in the video, and were actually used pretty frequently. This is because making them required only a Medium Monster Bone and a Mega Demondrug/Armorskin, and while only giving a regular Demondrug/Armorskin buff the Flute could be reused hunt after hunt until it broke through RNG (which could be after one use). This is particularly important for MH1 because buffing items like this were not sold in shops and there was no farm, so each one had to be gathered from the field meaning anything reusable was a huge time saver.

They really should do a collab silly weapon with the Saxaboom to make an in-game Hunting Horn called the Saxaboom. You can't tell me that wouldn't be amazing!

@@kevadu In that case, why not just play HH instead of trying to make this pocket horn thing work and you can use your second weapon slot to cover for problems that your horn can't deal with easily.
This video made me realise that they gave the HH dude bone armor when in one of the Mangas (MH Flash Hunter) there is a character using HH and wearing bone armor

When I use a new Hunting horn I like to write down the first letter of each colored note to learn the musical sequence. It's useful to quickly reference while mid hunt.
If "extend all melodies" song comes back you better believe were getting the band back together when chasing down the monster. It's going to be Flight of the Valkyries rolling into the zone.
The moment I saw the weapon swap mechanic while riding on the mount I got the feeling the most popular strat in multiplayer could be for everyone to have a good status ammo rapid firing Light Bowgun as the backup weapon. Everyone circles the monster rapid firing para shot then dismount for weapons like GS and Charge Blade to get in their strongest attacks then hop on back on their Seikret and begin another volley of status shots. Bonus points if you can get a HH user with a horn that has Large Attack and/or Affinity buff songs. Wonder if they may add a new song that also buffs Status ailment application unless the Element Boost song does that already

I'm a horn main in MH World. I have a fond memory of being in a group hunt against the Behemoth and someone else in the group specifically calling my buffs extremely helpful.
Pocket horn? i use pocket gun, free para's sleep and stun. if the coral orchestra comes back my cat is my pocket horn(fun fact all melody effects extended works on coral orchestra and cat horns)
hunting horn has come a long way. imagine needing to do homework/write and keep a copy of notes to memorize the note combos just to use a weapon.
