Yeah I definitely prefer the leather classic bag look but then again I made my own high back seat with simulated ostridge and then wrapped my tank strap to match so I'm definitely a little different.

thank you! Yes yes! Its def a solid time! Such a sense of adventure! If he is hesitant you can start off small and gradually chip away at larger distances and time away from home. As well as taking more major highway to ensure gas stops and/or if a breakdown occurs y'all are not crazy off the beaten path. That might help convince him for a journey! The frames themselves I had @jacob_conard (Instagram handle) fab them for me. Message him about making some frames for your bike! He has made some for dynas and sporsters and can ship them as well!

Both sissy bar and bag setup were custom made by a local fabricator, but you can check out Etsy (odd I know) for sissy bars - I believe its madebyRitchie or some variation of that, and for the bag setup you can check out Elite Touring Innovations for their "performance caser brackets" I recently switched to those from these cage style bag frames. If you're not 20th like your last.lol I understand the usability of these defender style bags I just don't feel it. To me it looks like Harley guys are going around in stealing dual sport Bags off dual sport bikes. I love my classic leather cowboy saddle bags they look great and hold almost as much as those bags you're showing.

Instead of allen key bolts. You could use a trailer hitch padlock. the square ones.
