Hayden “chirps” because he’s still going through puberty and his voice is squeaking. But I have to admit, he’s a hell of a good player and has amazingly quick hands.
She did that during her first few tournaments on tour and it was really intolerable. I think somebody may have said something to her because she backed off and only began calling shots that were legitimately unclear as to who was going to take them. Now that she’s captain of her team,she is really playing up that leadership role to an unnecessary extent.
Totally like the competitive nature of these matches. The one thing I think pickle ball is missing is the energy that all of these matches had. I have played competitive sports more entire life and there is always chirping going on to get mental advantages but in the end you shake hands and move on. I would be embarrassed if I was the NJ men’s doubles being clowned by two kids. Hayden was in there heads from the first serve.
It’s honestly a little annoying watching how much chirping was going on during the mens match…I’m all for a bit of banter but the constant coming to the net after each point and trying to make a big deal of something just feels old. It’s flipping pickleball 😂. Just my opinion though.
It's their livelihood. It's just flipping pickleball, it's the same as every other sport, every basketball player shit talks, lot of chirping in many other sports, taunting/celebrating in Football so what?
This is the most DISGUSTING behavior I have seen from so-called professional players in a long time. There is no reason for such POOR sportsmanship on both sides. Screaming after every point is ridiculous. These players should be ASHAMED. Awful behavior. Grow up and do BETTER to represent the sport.
This was a messy match with poor sportsmanship on both sides……a little maturity from all players would have gone a long way. It seems MLP matches have turned into who can hit the ball the hardest…..maybe it has something to do with the rally scoring?
Exciting matches but such poor sportsmanship. The ladies, especially ALW and Kate, screaming in their opponents' faces after every point is so uncalled for. They seem like a bunch of spoiled brats. Get pumped up and cheer for your team and teammate, but don't trash talk, taunt, or yell at the other team. That's just basic sportsmanship, decency and respect that are taught on playgrounds and kids' sports events everywhere.

Zane is such a baby. Nasty Nelson move should never be used in tournament/competitive play and only in rec games. Cheap way to win points

They were down by half and Hayden was getting super loud and disrespectful. Nice little move to keep Hayden humble even though they didn’t win.
