Hey man. As i lay in bed pondering the events of my day i just felt inclined to say thank you. I was diagnosed with leukemia 9 years ago I found your channel not too long after that and its helped me deal with all the crap that comes with fighting leukemia for years. 2 years ago i got told i can come off chemo. I thought it was over. 2 weeks ago it came back with a vengeance. So today i had a bone marrow biopsy and I’ve laid in bed all day wondering how I’m going to take care of my wife and our finances. But thanks to your videos I’ve been able to find distraction and I’m going to be able to sleep tonight. So i wanted to say thank you for being such a great source of content. You truly have helped me survive these last few years and I’ll be forever grateful.
I was looking it up, apparently Kochal is supposed to be some sorta demon God in the Netherrealm. I've never actually done those 3 fights in my playthroughs but damn it woulda been cool as shit if that was actually in the game 😮💨
The fact that NetherRealm is now charging for holiday fatalities and $40 character bundles makes me not want to support them anymore, so replaying older titles is probably going to be the way moving forward. Used to be a beloved franchise that's now just embraced the microtransactions factory. Which can't even really be considered a "microtransaction" when you're looking at $40 rosters and $10 fatalities.
Pretty much sums up why I haven't played many fighting games since Tekken 4 and MK Armegheddon. I'm tired of new games in general charging for stuff that was unlockable or base game in older titles.
I think the worse ones were the ones where you had to juggle an apparent because if one hit didn't land, the game wouldn't register it as done. It was a similar issue I had with Deadly Alliences training.
I'm playing Street Fighter 6 right now and Konquest makes me think of the World Tour of that game, although I think the World Tour is a far more enjoyable experience
