- Had some issues with recording on my VR headset, which is why this video is a bit late but I think it's pretty safe to say I'm addicted to Assassin's Creed Nexus. In this video, I play through Kassandra of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's first memory and to my pleasant surprise, it was a lot of fun! Ive completed the game 3 times and I don’t wish to stop! The amount of insane tricks you can do since you’re the character is insane, and tbh this game’s parkour is better than all the others for me, because you don’t have to wait for the character to respond, as you are the character!
The game never tells you this, but throwing the axe with Connor is crazy fun, it also has no aim assist so you actually need to be good at it

@@63topher02 it doesnt have aim assist maybe check your settings, for me it didnt have any. i think there is a aim assist setting in there

Watching you play that Odyssey level makes me want to replay all of Odyssey so much. I loved that game.
In my opinion I feel Arno, bayek, or altiar would have been great instead of Kassandra imo, because it would be so cool being able to explore the 3rd crusade, ancient Egypt, or even the French Revolution would have been revolutionary (see what I did there)!!!
We need nexus 2 next month with those 3. And in january, nexus 3 with Amunet, Edward and Evie ;)

Arno, Shay, Bayek are the best for this game. I believe they should save Altaïr's return for a much bigger project like AC 5 if it will ever happen or the Netflix series coming out

ive played about 20 hours and its a great game, i played it for 2 hours everyday and didnt fully do missions, played around a bit on the way there and yeah it was really enjoyable
Bayek in VR would be my dream tbh, it fits perfect, bayek is still around as a mentor doing stuff in different countries and egypt.
I love this game. It's not perfect, but it's the best VR game I played in almost last 2 years.
But I really hope we could thanks to the multiple characters, we could get in the next game Arno and Shay storyline resolution (also I would love to play as Shay again).
Whistle by making making your character put their pointer finger to their thumb and hold it to your face-
Throw your hood over your head for immersion! Just take your hands and swipe it forward past your head
I love this game as well, was one of the first games that got me interested in getting the Meta Quest 3, Alien Rogue Incursion, Batman Arkham Shadow, and Metroid Awakening are the other three games that finally pushed me from interested to , now I have one and a, enjoying this game while I wait for the other three to come out between now and December.
If I have to play Odyssey, I completely understand.
If Darius is the first one to use the hidden blade and he wears it over "handed" (lack of a better term), why does Kassandra wear hers under wrist?
Eivor at least has a reason while having nothing to do with Bayek. I at least understand Eivor.

I love your videos you make me so excited to explore the world of assassins creed and it’s lore
It would’ve been cool to get to play as Aya in Egypt, since it sort of seemed like she was originally meant to be playable alongside Bayek in Origins (once Layla found her sarcophagus or something) and it’d give us a new protagonist to try out. Egypt would also be really fun to revisit in VR. Imagine holding a torch in one hand and a khopesh in the other while exploring tombs and pyramids. And regular use of the shield both for combat and blocking traps like Kassandra does here. Or teaming up with Bayek to do coordinated assassinations.
I've never played a flatscreen assasin's creed game before this. And I love this game.
You know what, this game is so addicting that I’m on my 3rd play through, with 14 hours and 36 minutes on memory 10, with still like 6 other memories left.
I was scared this wasn’t going to be good and it was gonna be clunky but with a bit of practice it’s very fun they did a very good job props to Ubisoft

Ngl, after playing a few missions my favorite characters in AC nexus to play as, from most to least, is Conner, Kasandra, and Ezio
Btw you can whistle by holding the trigger and bringing the controller up to your mouth.
The lock picking on my first play through was very rough, just like you experienced, but when I started my second play through, the lock picking was easier for some reason.

This game is fun . the workout you get from this is great .. i said the same thing about letting that girl see my bow .. i was like Hell nah !!! not after sweating and making my arms all sore and dieing 20 times falling to my death trying to scratch my way up a wall .. lol
I haven't played the Ezio trilogy or Odyssey. Will I have trouble following Nexus, even if I'm familiar with Assassin's Creed in general?
I finished 3, 4, and played some of Unity, Syndicate, and Valhalla so far.
Ubisoft seems to be developing a pattern of making us WORK to get to Connor!🎉

What do you recommend playing in order? I downloaded AC3, AC Rouge, Syndicate, and also unity.
You can actually do assasinations with the weapons and the throwing knifes, and the throwing knifes stab in just like the hidden blade! An when you get to connors section use his axe as a sneak attack weapon too its very satisfying. Also you can flip most weapons
You can whistle if you hold the pointer finger trigger and bottom face button down on the controller and hold it to your mouth area.

I barely started it and I wanna take my vr back because I’m gonna vomit all over my living room.
Yeah, I got the game and made it to level 13 and then my game crashed and lost all my progress hours each day of play for like the past week gone but it’s an amazing game
i wish they added jacob and evie frye instead of kassandra or possible eivor because i like the brutal finishers in valhalla and weapons aswell as his origin and jacob and evie is mainly the knuckle dusters cos i love them and you can switch missions between jacob and evie i also like the skills like taking people hostage and getting into restricted areas unnoticed and having your own gang to help pillage places

Don't know if you figure it out later in the video. As I'm still at the start, but you apparently whistle by holding your hand close to your mouth and make your models thumb and index touch and hit a button I think? At least that's what I saw in another video.
tbh, ubisoft is so close to make an open world VR assassin's creed, you would need a super strong PC, but still they are close :D
bro the graphics in this mess of a game went back to ezio times are you joking. vr made this game look like absolute shit it will take years before we're able to have vr games that look as good as a current aaa game like mirage, and even with shitty ass graphics an open world would be a tall order.

You actually can Whistle, just do an "O" with your thumb and index and brring it up to your mouth and it will trigger a whistle
To whistle you hold your hand up to your mouth like you would whistle

the only bad thing about the game is the combat its so fucking shit if i try to stab someone it sometimes doesnt register other than that the story is good and everything else about it but if the combat was better it would be one of the best games on vr maybe even the best and keep in mind combat is every important
