Nicely done. I haven't used Nottingham yeast in a couple years. I've had a pack in the fridge that expires in March. Maybe I'll do a Porter with it. So just to confirm, you definitely like Nottingham better than S-04? I don't much care for S-04 that much anymore either, especially in dark beers. Too estery. But I am at this very moment drinking my Toast Pale Ale (video coming soon) based on a recipe from Hop Cartel that used S-04. And I cannot tell it's that yeast. Very strange how that worked out.
