Try to unlock the dog first by doing the pet mystery quest here's a tutorial on how to do it

@@ShinyTiarass yes. But to be able to get the alpaca and raccoon quests, you have to do the dog quest first. Here's a video tut on how to do it. It's an old video btw from the old map. On the new map the house is located near the beach

I apologize for the very late reply!
If both horses are unbred you'll get gen 9.
if both are bred you'll get gen 0.
If 1 is unbred and the other is bred the foal will be the same gen as the unbred parent.
Also when breeding 2 unbred horses together you have to add the gens of both parents then always add 1 as bonus.
So in your case it's 7+1+1= 9

Now…what does it mean if the Alpaca isn’t there for you? Because i haven’t unlocked it yet but its not anywhere on the mountains for me and its my dream pet. I looked in the animal clinic…not there… i looked in the shelter… not there. I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but I figured if it isn’t a glitch, you would know what was wrong/where it was, which is why im asking. If it is a glitch…I’ll have to try find smt to do because its my LITERAL dream pet.

You have to unlock the dog first before you can unlock the other pets. But if you already did and the Alpaca is still not showing up for you then it's probably a glitch and you need to contact developers to rectify the issue.
