Swami, Pranaam🙏. To just state how valuable this explanation has been for me will be an understatement. I just can make a determination to make an effort to live what you have taught so painstakingly. That will be my way of saying thankyou 🙏. I will revisit this learning again and again to polish my life.🙏

I had the thought that the teachings in the Bhagavad Gita ascend from beginning to end as a mountain path ascends up to the peak. If I stop early I won't reach the peak. Thank you Swamiji for all the great videos. Namaste.

    - krishna says he is the conciousness in all the beings. now first this statement reigns on the ego but later if you think it's such a relief.. imagine if ego says 'i am the conciousness' that would be sicide worthy. since it is the greatest saying he is the conciousness.. there is a hope to become like him
    - even though one gets the knowledge that they are brahman, mind doesn't really give af, it still gets involved in the world, in the lust etc.. that's why the next step is vasanakshya (killing of the habits) and manonasha. krishna now gives 20 methods for this. neo-advaita just gives you the knowledge that you are brahman and stops there.. not krishna though.. he knows the job is not finished.
    - swami then proceeds to read 4 or 5 verses on these 20 practices. amanitvam. mana means you are attracted to some part of the field.. mana also means to measure in another sense. that which can be measured is not the infinite... leave your mana in the dirt. because why? you are the unlimited you fool! sri ramakrishna explains this in a different way.. amanitvam or humility is not being a doormat! (oh i am nothing) , humility means seeing the greatness in another person.
