Redlicki has stronger strokes, but Holt has a stronger mental game and matchplay IQ. He’s also got that innate clutch x-factor. Expect to see huge success from Holt as he continues to grow and develop his game.

Well firstly, it's a "let", not a "net". And secondly, in D1 college tennis you have to play all lets. It's a weird rule, but it was put in place to stop players from cheating and calling lets on serves simply because they could not return it.
You are right but wrong. They changed this rule in Ontario as well it is to speed up tennis. Which is also why NCAA doesn’t play ads anymore when u get to deuce it’s sudden death. Nothing to do with cheating it is to speed up rate of play

Redlicki’s coach: and if you lose the first set but want to start winning, just throw in a few high lobs instead of regular ground strokes, especially on your forehand side
He didn’t concede. In college dual match play with the overall match is clinched then they stop play on all remaining courts. That’s why the doubles didn’t finish either
13:53 Very close. I watched with 0.25 playing speed. For me, it looks a more like an in. At least it’s not wide. It’s a matter of inch long or just on the edge of the line.
Redlicki needs to spend a whole day on his crosscourt forehand. It's chronically late because his elbow goes slightly behind his waist sometimes before his shoulder even turns. As a lefty it should be his bread and butter, but if you watch this whole match comparing his CC fh vs DTL or open court-50:49 vs 50:52 for ex-it's like two different shots. If he ironed out that kink I think he could have the upper hand in a match like this, as strong as Holt is.
Redlicki is not good at the start of this match, and seemed to have a very weak, error prone forehand especially. Then he improves by riling himself up and being more aggressive on the forehand. Interesting psychology

I know hooking is common in college, but it could also be the angle. Makes it tough to see when it's actually out if it's close to the line when you're reading from behind as opposed to on the court. For example, if I'm at the net in doubles I call most serves so my partner can focus on their return. However, it's hard at the net to read the down the line serve if it lands next to you and tags the outside of the line. I leave that call to my partner since they have a better angle to call that ball accurately.
The reason they play lets is because there is nothing to call lets in college tennis (like a machine or a person sitting by the net). Players would to call lets when the opponent would hit a good serve or when failing to return serves or getting aced, and they use the honor system so the call would stand. Now they just play them so that problem doesn’t happen again.
