I was fortunate enough to see them live during this very tour in NYC. They were spectacular, and I am SO glad we have this show recorded and remastered for a new generation to appreciate as well! ❤️
Aaargh! So jealous! I’m from Central Arkansas and at that point the closest they came was Dallas about five hours away, and my parents just weren’t the type to be so indulgent as to take me on an out-of-state trip just for a concert. Lol So unfortunately, I never got to see them with Michael. I did, however, see them in Memphis in 2006 with JD Fortune when they went on tour with him. It was still an awesome show; these guys are just such a tight act and work off each other so well. No one in that band is a slouch. And JD hadn’t totally gone off the rails with his drug use and mental health issues at that point, so he did a great job.
Saw them 3 times in St.Louis. Always put on an amazing live show, mainly because they have such a deep catalog of awesome music. I still listen to their older albums from beginning to end, because they cover so many styles. Punk, Alternative, Rock, Pop, and in the last few many experimental styles with a harder edge on some and bluesy on others.
For a fairly brief period these guys were the best band in the world. This particular concert at Wembley in July 1991 was arguably INXS at the peak of their powers.
Not so crazy about this live version. The rhythm guitar just isn't punching through as strongly as it should and the crispness of the original is a bit compromised. "Suicide Blonde" from the same concert, however, is something completely different. Absolutely great performance and the sound doesn't seem compromised at all. In fact it may even sound punchier. You should give it a try!

Fantastic performance, INXS one of the best live bands ever!

What a great band, you really can't go wrong with any INXS reaction
You gotta see Suicide Blonde same concert. More 2 instruments, by the keyboardist Andrew.
