Where I-90 ends. US 10 was the old route, which crossed Mercer Island and ended for a time at the old WA 5, before connecting to I-5 when that was completed. City streets then connected to US 99. US 10/I-90 up to and through the tunnel after Lake Washington were first built in the 1950's. Again, there isn't much room to build, so it has to be compact. And there's the railroad, too.
Looks beautiful but I think I’d still be scared out of my wits driving over there. Last time I was in Seattle was 2002 when my college roommate got married and I was his videographer. Full tuxedos too!
Interesting infrastructure on I-90 heading west. The floating bridge. View of the Seattle Skyline. Tunnel on Mercer Island. The Seattle Mariners and Seahawks stadiums.
The I-90 Western Termini is basically similar to the I-90 Eastern Termini in Boston. Tunnels, Sports Venues, and Downtown. Only Seattle has the bridges and Boston has the Airport along I-90.
Seems like there's a ton of graffiti art on the freeways, bridges, overpasses and even signage in Seattle. Even more graffiti in Seattle than in Portland.

You finally made it to the west coast, hope you enjoyed being in my neck of the woods
Merry Christmas Eve!

I'm actually surprised there wasn't a lot of traffic
