I do not understand the usefulness of viaduc, why the railway is not directly on the mainland? it is not very hilly either. je ne comprend pas l utilité de se viaduc, pourquoi le chemin de fer n est pas directement sur la terre ferme ? c est pas non plus très vallonner .
We have forgotten. Technology has moved far beyond building bridge supports out of bricks. As for looking nice, it all depends on where these structures are located. Interstates and overpasses have artful work when there is a particular reason for it. Otherwise, getting from point A to B safely and quickly is and should be the #1 goal. I do not think you would want to have lived when this beautiful structure was built. You might be one of the labors hauling bricks or mortar for little in return.
This was one of my first flights with my Phantom 3. Perfect for aerial photography.
Pretty neat. Now go back & fly that baby through the arches across and along this great viaduct. stu eightfish (my correct channel name )

Arano........The river is likely to flood.
The Victorians knew how to build things and make them look nice; unfortunately we've forgotten today!
