I went and saw Jay at the funnybone in Kansas City a couple weeks back and as he was wrapping up his last 5/10 we’re just back to back hard hitting jokes. I had my hat half off, glasses on my forehead and was wiping away tears I was laughing so hard. And he kept looking over at me like “gotcha bitch!”. His entire set was hillarious and his crowd work was amazing as always but man he was tearing up the room with no pause at the end. Everytime I’ve seen him I walk away happy. I see a lot of comics from the big arena acts to the club and theater shows. Jay is top 5 for me. Go see him live.
My twin brother works with him every day at SiriusXM and he is the funniest person I’ve ever met and the sweetest dude in real life. I’ve seen him just talk to fans for hours. He’s a genuinely nice human being.

I saw him last year and he was so stoned his crowd "work" should have got him a demotion. The crowd chuckled once in awhile except the top heavy mixed race gal who thought everything was funny. I saw her at Dan Soders show a few months later and it was the same donkey howl there. Then Sodes wasn't so high he was slouching off his barstool. Oh well I just know now Jay is funnier on video than live from my experience.
@@ClimptonDiddlehopper Every night is different for Comics that do crowd work/improv, unless they're just going through the motions, doing the exact same routine verbatim every night. Jay is not one of those. Even Greats like Attell, Burr, etc. will have nights that are better than others. You'd understand if you've ever performed anything in front of strangers on a regular basis. It's harder than it looks.
Big Jay is an absolute killer, I don't think I've ever seen him not hilarious, every podcast every standup, kill tony, standup on the spot whatever it is

Those were the least cool black people I’ve seen at a comedy show. Jay is such a legend, usually black people that go to comedy shows have way better sense of humor. Those people sucked. Didn’t even phase Jay though he’s the GOAT.
