I feel like corridos tumbados & Latin trap, specifically Bad Bunny, are sculpting music rn. I also think it’s because rap has been real stale this year. You got almost every American trying to be a rapper doing the same shit as everyone else. You could probably say the same thing for Latin trap I guess but for Americans it’s something different.

I think these are the first Mexicans on here they’ve had Puerto Rican’s and reguetoneros but this is definitely a first, but reminder to anyone who doesn’t know this is more Americanized style of regional Mexican music and in Mexico there’s artists that play all types of genres, rock bands, ballads, etc so don’t think we’re only listening/playing to this style of music. Usually only Mexican Americans like me be playing this specific style of music too.
I’m a black American and I don’t speak Spanish, but I’ve always liked this song and would sing the parts that I could pronounce 😂 Hearing the meaning makes me like it even more!
Since he said he liked "The Notebook" now I am a fan lol I really do like their songs in some rythms it reminds like 50's oldies vibes and sometimes a bit of reggae/ska lol they are very unique and hopefully they keep it up ☺️
