Naomi (the mother in law) told Ruth to go back where she came from and marry again but Ruth chose to stay. The lyrics are based from what she said to Naomi. It is a beautiful song not just for couples but for anyone with intimate relationships: family, best friends, etc. All encompassing talaga siya. One of the best examples of a profession of unconditional love.

I am crying as the Lawton Post Office brought back lots of childhood memories when Mom, who was a retired postal employee there for decades, would bring us to work on weekends as kids. And college days when I used to pick her up from there so we can go home together to Cavite. Missing mom so much; only been gone for 5 months since her passing.
I’m sad that the Manila Post Office which is the place where the video on this song was destroyed by fire which is the second time to destroy the building since 1945 so let’s hope to rise again the Post Office soon

Just sad knowing that today, May 22, 2023 the postal office was severely damaged by fire.
