Preacher Aka, no need to convert me, I’ve believed in this concept for a long time. I have a couple Ziskas and several Baldwins as sub generals. Ground attack debuff is SO hard to get! Having strong debuffs make you able to punch above your weight. Great video!!
Very very true. I am mashing the seals, military academy, duty generals, senate generals getting them to 10 stars...14 seats opening 16 tomorrow...my siege debuff is 1800...I 50% debuffed a siege rally where the k44 had 3.6k buffs...I could have higher debuffs but I don't know...I am focusing on the right side of the MA. I'm a very low coiner...less than 3k over 2 years...5.3b keep on 983...I am having problems since I don't get hit in svs or battlefields anymore....my defense buffs are under 2k at k39 which I feel are small...siege is 1.9k ranged almost 1.8k...
Once I got to the point that all my important debuffs were between 1,000 and 1,500%, I stopped worrying about them so much; cause I found that I was halving peoples buffs almost every time. Or at least 9 of 10 times. So at that point, I shifted back over to getting my range attack & siege hp buffs as high as possible for my defense.
Good video. Debuffs are a balance. You don't need 3k% debuffs when people are sending 4k% seige. Run it up to the max 50%, then focus on other debuffs so they are maximized

I'm a T1 player, so I've witnessed what 1200% debuff can do against 2500% buff. It still hurts, but the power exchange works in my favor. Very useful knowing 1700% mark could be reachable ✊🏻 Would be good to break down acha gear and their upgraded newest versions for sub generals and see which pieces give the best debuf for every troop type for defense. Helm, chest, legs, boots.... just pick the piece with two buffs instead of one. The single debuff ring hits archer, so lead with that, but add a few of the double debuff ring to balance debuffs/address shortcomings. Lead with axe, add a few spears to fine tune.

any problems solving not same depending on circustances and conditions, and that depdends on where you at now for buffs/debuffs, which buffs you pick, attacking/defending/universal, how often you take defences or solo hits, what debuffs comes from sub or unconditional
The importance of debuffs is why T1 traps and bloated T1 keeps (T1 meat wall) should spend their blood of ares on sub gens before duty gens. The in city percent buffs aren't going to help much when you don't have many millions of each high tier. For quite a while now I have gone hard on ascending sub gens from the Tavern. During the Trial of Knights event I take one or two sub gens as high as I can go to complete red stars (no partial) then spend any left over bloods to take each duty general to one star (low cost for first star, decent return). I've got great defense. If I don't ghost ground or Cav I can take a 4,500% atk solo (yes, I've done this) and break even on SVS points (or better). If I've ghosted then I win big.
Aka I would love to have your advice on how to play against big guys. I'm k33 currently on server 481 and I would like to be able to defend maximum k37 attack. What would you recommend me?

Focusing on Achamenidae, Senate, Duty Officers, Sub Generals, Ideal Land (lev 3 as of now). Until half a year ago I had only 5 subs but have 6 now and will get two more closest months. I am already happy with my almost 900 M troops in my little K33, I have took off all castle decorations so the big guys K40-45 most of the time blind hit me. It's always same fun. Now CoC starts in two hours, let's see if I can perform as good as I did last two seasons there. But I have messed up my gear in my pvp generals and subs. Trying to get set debuffs in my subs instead of having uneven number of gear on a general. I'm still using Queen B (awakened, 8.4 M) and Isaac Brock on my wall. They perform good together / way better than Leonidas and Marshal in my personal tests. Right now, I think the strongest players in the game are around 4000% buffs, so 2000% debuffs would be the highest required. And I agree that if you have 1700% debuffs, that would be enough to defend against most players. But even getting that 1700% is extremely difficult 😅 Which is why I think every reasonable increase in debuffs is worth getting, and more valuable than increasing buffs 😇

The highest sub generals I have ascended are only 1 star 😂 That being said though, If you do want to upgrade your sub generals, then it's a matter of what debuffs you want, and not the ascension. So in that case, it might be perfectly fine to keep your Hojo and Baldwin, even though you can't ascend them, as long as they are providing you with the right debuffs you want 😉👍
Gear from ache & civ gear has innate debuff ability, you just need a debuff general to wear those gear, most debuff have certain type of debuff that specific for certain debuff general
For subs, debuff is far important than buff. Buff only affects the small number of troops from that sub. Ideally, you need to start putting full sets of achae gear on all your subs. Focus on debuffing range first. Classic is the Axe, Courageous Helmet, Courageous Armor, Fearless Leg Armor, Courageous Boots, and the Courageous Ring. If you are bigger (K35+) and start facing more ground attacks instead of ranged, mix in 2 or 3 of Spears and the Fearless Ring to increase your ground debuffs. Later on, you can upgrade achae sets to Parthian sets. It is important that you do the upgrades as sets, so you keep the full set debuffs. Similarly, you neeed to get sub mayors that debuff ranged at first and then put some in later that debuff ground. Current group is 3 Baldwins, Darius, Jan Karol, 6-star Amr ibn al-As, Mark Antony, Hojo, and the Nordic Barbarian King.

I think the other way....buffs are literally unlimited, while debuffs will only debuff 50% of the enemy. I would understand if there was no limit to what you can debuff, but the fact is debuffs are limited.
They can afford to do that because their buffs are so high that they will overwhelm a.lot of players, even without their subs. But don't forget that most of these players have gone very far with their research in the military academy. So they already have a ton of attacking debuffs and might not need their subs.
You dont have to get 3k debuff just 1,5k will be enough and more buff to resist against rally . And yes for solo debuffs are more important compared against rally
when you first showed your monarch preset gear around the 8 minute mark and gave the example of ground monarch gear with enemy ranged troop attack debuff... you actually want enemy mounted troop attack debuff for the ground troop preset. just an fyi

The way I see it is that I wouldn't want to be sending my ground March in where there are a lot of cavs. I'd be sending it into archers, and for that, debuffing the archer attack would be more helpful. But to your point, if you have a strong enough ground March that you can solo keeps with ground, then having the mounted attack debuff would make sense since the keeps would have lots of cavs in there 😇👍
Buffs and Debuffs are important for attacking/defending against your peers and near peers. If you are hit by somebody 3, 4 or even 5 keeps higher than you, all the debuffs in the world will not make you any less zeroed. In fact during the BOG this pas wed, there was a K37 with 100M t1's and 155M troops total, 3 of us rallied him one K38 and 2 K35s and zeroed him in one hit. Imagine getting hit by a K42 wth 2000+ buffs. Debuffs are essential to surviving, but only to a point. I myself focus on my debuffs and I am doing decent, buffs, well there is only so much I can do until K36.
Actually, I got hit by a K42 this SvS and survived it easily 😁😁 Well, you might feel that way now, but trust me, I can tell you 100% that focusing on debuffs the right way will help you out more than you can imagine 😇 You will become a believer 😁😁
I agree. The point is to narrow the spread between your buffs/debuffs and the opponents buffs/debuffs. Debuffs have no special magic. All-Stars and Chalons are a different game than regular battlefield and svs. The buff and debuff differentials are much greater. BTW, a K42 with 2000 buffs would be terrible player for that keep size. Military academy and Senate open up a lot of buffs.
@@RedEvony Would you mind making a video about explaining the different types of Keeps? Fortess, Ghoster, Hybrid, The Trap, etc. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each one? Which fighting styles fit each type? Which wall generals are best for each type? My server (1251) has an alliance that is pushing it's teammates to build fortresses without any explanations besides a possible server merger sometime in the future. 🤷🏼
Sadly, unless you coin for the civ gear or premium sub gens, your debuffs won't really matter much. Unless you fully ascend the tavern gens and even that becomes a chore for f2p players, you're not going to max debuff most players. Either not enough boa or gems to ascend both attack and sub generals. The game is becoming more lopsided each event for even those who coin moderately.
This case I do agree, it's very hard to get the civ gear frag & think of other area that need to improve the buff & debuff, f2p is not have the previlage to get much better attack or defense
@@luckystarz9845 Unless you coin you end up with basic generals, little to no civ gear, less sub cities and over all lower debuffs. Once you face the 3k + corners you realize Evony killed the f2p players and is slowly killing the low to mid level coiners in the game.

Not true at all. Our server has a pure T1 trap player that defeats the solo attack of k45s all the time. Always scoring positive by a couple B points each svs. It can be done with parinthian gears and great refines. Just be patient and do what is possible one day at a time.
I can see your point boss but let me ask you how you know that there's no one with 3000% debuff cause you only see Hafe of your debuffs on a report an you'd have to have someone with 6000% buff to see if you are debuffing hafe 🫣🫣

That being said though, If you do want to upgrade your sub generals, then it's a matter of what debuffs you want, and not the ascension. So in that case, it might be perfectly fine to keep your Hojo and Baldwin, even though you can't ascend them, as long as they are providing you with the right debuffs you want 😉👍

BTW, a K42 with 2000 buffs would be terrible player for that keep size. Military academy and Senate open up a lot of buffs.

Fortess, Ghoster, Hybrid, The Trap, etc. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each one? Which fighting styles fit each type? Which wall generals are best for each type?
My server (1251) has an alliance that is pushing it's teammates to build fortresses without any explanations besides a possible server merger sometime in the future. 🤷🏼

Sadly, unless you coin for the civ gear or premium sub gens, your debuffs won't really matter much. Unless you fully ascend the tavern gens and even that becomes a chore for f2p players, you're not going to max debuff most players. Either not enough boa or gems to ascend both attack and sub generals. The game is becoming more lopsided each event for even those who coin moderately.
This case I do agree, it's very hard to get the civ gear frag & think of other area that need to improve the buff & debuff, f2p is not have the previlage to get much better attack or defense
Not entirely true. There are realy good tavern generals and important note is to think about what stats you actually need to debuff.
@@luckystarz9845 Unless you coin you end up with basic generals, little to no civ gear, less sub cities and over all lower debuffs. Once you face the 3k + corners you realize Evony killed the f2p players and is slowly killing the low to mid level coiners in the game.

I prefer using brain instead of wallet.
Once we start seeing players with 6000 buffs, we'll start seeing 3000 debuffs. We can't see 3000 debuffs before that.

Right now, the strongest players in the game are around 4000% buffs. So my question is, how many people have 2000% debuffs or more?

The point I made in the video about 3000% debuffs was to highlight the fact that buffs increase much faster than debuffs do. That is one of the reasons why increases in debuffs are more valuable 😇
I got 1700% siege attack atleast 😅. 3400% biggest ive seen hit me.

Not true at all. Our server has a pure T1 trap player that defeats the solo attack of k45s all the time. Always scoring positive by a couple B points each svs. It can be done with parinthian gears and great refines. Just be patient and do what is possible one day at a time.

I can see your point boss but let me ask you how you know that there's no one with 3000% debuff cause you only see Hafe of your debuffs on a report an you'd have to have someone with 6000% buff to see if you are debuffing hafe 🫣🫣
