Also, I recently purchased a new OTK chassis and because I have very short legs, I cannot reach the pedals with the standard seat position, so I will have to put the pedal extensions ...

try braking alot later and hold the wheel lower so u can push with it stonger< also maybe take out some castore/grip to stop the bouncing under load
holding the wheel higher gives you more control over the kart, way easier to push on the wheel that way
I'm impressed that you fit a size 2 otk seat ! Not that I'm saying you are big guy, but that's my size of seat and I'm 1,67m and 62 kilos

164KG total. So realistically another 10KG to lose. Some off the kart but most off me. I'm halfway there having lost 10KG already.
