My ex broke up with me in October 2023. I started watching coach lee videos ever since. I honestly never thought my ex would reach out but he did two nights ago, about 9 months after the breakup. It’s been 9 months of healing for me and guess what, I don’t even want him back! Even if he did change during this time (which I know he didn’t), the time apart and reflecting I’ve done helped me to realize we actually are not compatible so even if all the relationship issues went away it still wouldn’t have worked out in the end. Trust me go no contact, no matter how hard it is. I cried for 3 months straight. Work on yourself, understand your traumas, and don’t look back. You will be fine :)
this is how i felt with my ex gf cuz we loved each other so much but we had absoultely nothing in common at all. I do miss her. She is the one that left me cuz of this reason. I cried for a long time. Its been 3 months i still miss her

I´m almost 3 months in no contact now. The thing about my ex is. It seems more like the right person, wrong time Problem. She has a lot of trauma to solve and all her toxic behaviour came because of hurt. We had a lot in comon and she was a very good person. I hope she can figure things out. Maybe there is really hope for us still. It´s the first Ex in my entire life, I would suggest to take back. I never felt this way about anyone in the past. I just door slammed them and it was over. But now, I´m really not sure anymore.

Yeah, I agree. The more I watch Coach Lee's videos, the more I feel disgusted about my ex and less interested in potentially getting back together. All he says perfectly describes my ex and it's not attractive at all. Unless she'd do a lot of self reflection, I don't think I'd care she suddenly came back. In this society most people act Narcissistic. Sometimes a breakup and no contact can open their eyes. Not everyone, who acts like a Narc, has NPD. Sometimes they just being stupid, naive and to much in the system. Like brainwashed. But yeah, one should be carefull and not trust to easily. If they want you back, they find a way to prove their love. If not, they don´t want to. Easy as that.
When i first split with my ex i was devastated, watched all these videos and worked on myself.. i messed up was begging and chasing, then i stumbled on these videos then i just stopped contacting her. I promise you they will contact you mine did again this morning saying the was thinking about me, i didn't reply. @LeeEverett1 well we was going back and forth for few weeks after split we met up bit then she just kinda cut me off.. so I went no contact, I deleted all socials and her number but I kept WhatsApp it was 37 day of no contact she reached out. We spoke but was kinda bread crumbing me asking if I was seeing anyone. I said I was speaking to someone else. Then week after we spoke again was getting on really well having a laugh then we didn't speak again for another week which is where she reached out again today. All im saying is don't make the mistake I made and replying unless they say do you wanna meet up.
The ones you love the most dont come back. I had an incredible 10 month relationship with the love of my life and she left me because i neglected her needs and allowed alcohol and gambling to take over my life at the time and she got sick of it. It hurt so fucking bad. Been 3 years and have not heard from her. I requested her instagram a few months ago and she declined. I assume she’s protecting me from what I don’t want to see. A few months after me and my now ex gf got together my mother passed away, she was only 55 and I was only 20..after going through that I wasn’t the same person, I would get angry more often and unintentionally take it out on my Gf because I had so much grief and pain..it got to the point where I would go over the top in arguments and ended up really scaring her..then when she left me it made me realize how bad my behaviour could actually be. My husband left me with his parents two days after our wedding after a small argument. I’m not sure that this is going to be my situation. As every break up is different and every relationship is different. My person has pushed pause Three times in five years for the same reason every time. Timing. I’m finally in therapy now and I’m reading the book attached and my therapist said he will come back because I’ve always let him back but the next time he chooses to come back, I will be ready and will be armed with to deal with him coming back or I won’t want him back. He is anxious and avoidant and I am secure and anxious. Interesting dynamic and it all makes sense.

What if you're the dumper but it's because they couldn't meet your boundaries? What dynamic is at play there in relation to your videos. The woman dumps the guy because he's can't treat her right.
He communicated his boundaries but I was so wrapped up in a difficult situation I was going through, I didn't hear him. He ended it. I followed Coach Lee's advice and after a number of months of NC, we re-established limited communication. I needed that time to heal and get myself grounded. And it showed him I can walk away. Been back together for almost a year, and it's much better now than it was before.

i’m sure he was dumped by the ex. she may have had second thoughts about him and decided to try it again. if you really want to be involved with him again, give him up to but no longer than 6 months to realize what he passed on. enjoy yourself in the meantime. i do believe in giving someone a second chance, providing they weren’t nasty about it. can’t blame him for trying to reconnect with someone he apparently still loves, but be patient with him and he may be b as close with a clearer mindset. all the best!

Don‘t react, only when she approaches you directly, not on social media. The way you communicated before. Even then react to all her actions with reservation. Don’t forget if she broke with you (unless you did something outrageous) she is the villain 🦹♂️. Be slow and cautious this time, don’t jump back to have things as they were before. Good luck! Isn’t there a risk of conformation bias in no contact? Say a relationship broke down because of lack of emotional safety (they tried telling you what they needed and their partner either didn’t listen or promised changes they never delivered) so they left in a state of self-preservation. If you’re in no contact aren’t you reinforcing their belief that you won’t change? In NC you’re a vacuum so they will fill in that blank with what they know or think they know? It’s a catch 22 because if they were clear they no longer wanted you in their life, you really don’t have choice. So it just feels like one’s absence from their, that they wanted, serves to reinforce their decision. It feels like the Kobayashi Maru
The thing is, they have the power since they initiated the breakup. The ball is in their court so to speak, they need to have those feelings re-awakened enough to reach out, if they don’t then there is not much to do. After like 3 or 4 months you can reach out as a last chance one time and see what happens. Don’t over do it though, cuz then it’s needy and weak. Brother I am going through it as well. Different circumstances but it seems your ex was monkey branching. Testing waters before the break. Find out her attraction style. Coach Lee has videos on it. LOOK UP many videos on her attachment style. It helps so much. It’s an amazing tool. Even learning puts you ahead even if you don’t get back together. This will help prepare you when meeting someone new, cause once you learn these attraction styles you will go into meeting someone with more knowledge. My ex broke up with me in October 2023. I started watching coach lee videos ever since. I honestly never thought my ex would reach out but he did two nights ago, about 9 months after the breakup. It’s been 9 months of healing for me and guess what, I don’t even want him back! Even if he did change during this time (which I know he didn’t), the time apart and reflecting I’ve done helped me to realize we actually are not compatible so even if all the relationship issues went away it still wouldn’t have worked out in the end. Trust me go no contact, no matter how hard it is. I cried for 3 months straight. Work on yourself, understand your traumas, and don’t look back. You will be fine :)

I´m almost 3 months in no contact now. The thing about my ex is. It seems more like the right person, wrong time Problem. She has a lot of trauma to solve and all her toxic behaviour came because of hurt. We had a lot in comon and she was a very good person.

Then week after we spoke again was getting on really well having a laugh then we didn't speak again for another week which is where she reached out again today. A few months after me and my now ex gf got together my mother passed away, she was only 55 and I was only 20..after going through that I wasn’t the same person, I would get angry more often and unintentionally take it out on my Gf because I had so much grief and pain..it got to the point where I would go over the top in arguments and ended up really scaring her..then when she left me it made me realize how bad my behaviour could actually be. Now don’t get me wrong we had a great relationship 99% of the time but those few bad arguments is what made her leave..i was so caught up with losing my mother that I ended up losing the love of my life too..we’ve had a few deep conversations about it since we broke up but there hasn’t been any plan to get back together on her side yet..I told her that it took her leaving to make me realize how bad I can be so now I’m scared she’ll never take me back because I heard a lot of exes don’t like to hear that

I’m not sure that this is going to be my situation. As every break up is different and every relationship is different. My person has pushed pause Three times in five years for the same reason every time. Timing. I’m finally in therapy now and I’m reading the book attached and my therapist said he will come back because I’ve always let him back but the next time he chooses to come back, I will be ready and will be armed with to deal with him coming back or I won’t want him back. He is anxious and avoidant and I am secure and anxious. Interesting dynamic and it all makes sense.

He communicated his boundaries but I was so wrapped up in a difficult situation I was going through, I didn't hear him. He ended it. I followed Coach Lee's advice and after a number of months of NC, we re-established limited communication. I needed that time to heal and get myself grounded. And it showed him I can walk away. Been back together for almost a year, and it's much better now than it was before.

she may have had second thoughts about him and decided to try it again. if you really want to be involved with him again, give him up to but no longer than 6 months to realize what he passed on. enjoy yourself in the meantime. i do believe in giving someone a second chance, providing they weren’t nasty about it. can’t blame him for trying to reconnect with someone he apparently still loves, but be patient with him and he may be b as close with a clearer mindset.

Don‘t react, only when she approaches you directly, not on social media. The way you communicated before. Even then react to all her actions with reservation. No clear signs or communication prior to the end. If you don’t think she is villain and you are fine with her treatment of you, then just block her on everything and move on. Or leave her there and don’t comment on here asking what it means that she is watching your stories. Clearly you still have feelings and desire for her. That’s what he means.
Perhaps a video on why the dumper that has disorganised traits, unblocks on particular dates that mean something to both the dumper and dumpee such as a date when you met one year prior.. why would they then 5 days later blcoked again even though you didn't do anything and they have no way of knowing if we noticed or not lol! Isn’t there a risk of conformation bias in no contact? Say a relationship broke down because of lack of emotional safety (they tried telling you what they needed and their partner either didn’t listen or promised changes they never delivered) so they left in a state of self-preservation.
If you’re in no contact aren’t you reinforcing their belief that you won’t change? In NC you’re a vacuum so they will fill in that blank with what they know or think they know?
It’s a catch 22 because if they were clear they no longer wanted you in their life, you really don’t have choice. So it just feels like one’s absence from their, that they wanted, serves to reinforce their decision.

@@Champman543 it sucks man, I just want a chance to make things right. It’s my fault, I was in a bad state mentally which impacted my mood, making the relationship slightly toxic for 3 months. She knew I was struggling. But for the past 3 years it was all good. I’m probably too late. But I can’t even move on, when everything I do now was a sacrifice for her. Different circumstances but it seems your ex was monkey branching. Testing waters before the break. Find out her attraction style. Coach Lee has videos on it. LOOK UP many videos on her attachment style. It helps so much. It’s an amazing tool. Even learning puts you ahead even if you don’t get back together. This will help prepare you when meeting someone new, cause once you learn these attraction styles you will go into meeting someone with more knowledge. Possibly even make better decisions on picking a partner. Even when you’re viewing videos try to find out what is yours. You’re most likely an anxious at this point. Which makes a lot of sense when you watch and learn from these videos.
Yes space is needed but if you keep on contacting when they asked for space it will definitely lower your chances. You will piss them off. Which is something you don’t want. They wanna see emotional maturity. They don’t wanna hear about a change they wanna see it. Like giving space and not contacting is something they will notice themselves. Well 7 hours later, I was contacted on a very emotional level by my ex. I did accepted and texted back.
She is going through a very difficult time like a really fucking difficult time in her life.
I believe she’s realizing what it is we have and what she is walking away from. Told me she loves me and misses me. We are set to meet Monday. I will handle this with confidence but with caution. Tenderness, understanding, and respect. Her text to me was heartfelt, sincere, and she explained a lot. We will cover more convo about the matter in the future but for right now as I was telling you, no pushing just fun and having a good time enjoying each other company as we once did. Not only learning how to handle a break up correctly cause I would have messed this up bad, but to make ourselves a better us.

Of course, it is your responsibility to fix your problems In the first place, but try to reflect on every aspect of it.
