I'm more that excited to finally present you my first single of the new album, In Search of Heroes, "Kyom Min Sok Chet Te." As some of you may have already guessed, one of my favorite artists to cover from the 60s is Pan Ron. She was always edgy, fresh and had to courage to perform some very sassy tunes! I love her approach to music, and so I took one of her great hits, Kyom Min Sok Chet Te, and did a dance remake of the song to reinvigorate the edgy and fresh spirit. This is one of my favorite songs in the Khmer library of 60s music, so I hope you like what I did with this one!

I'm Cambodian and was born in Canada. Although I "appreciated" Khmer music, it was never really something I enjoyed listening to. When it came to music from Asia, I was more into Korean, Japanese and Chinese music. However, ever since discovering your channel, Laura, I've come to enjoy Khmer music more. Really proud of what you have done and your rendition of this classic song is edgy and fresh.
