I love it. SC basketball has been down most of my life. The final four one was a miracle and a half and so emotional for us fans. Seeing the team with 18 wins so far feels so, so good

As a Kentucky fan, I'm not familiar with that feeling… in basketball. But as a Bengals fan, I'm all too familiar with always being a dumpster fire. There's nothing better than your favorite team making a run for the championship.

They haven't been that good since 2006-2008 when Zam Frederick and Trae Kelley was PG and beat then Nat'l champs UF 4x in the regular season just to lose close games in the SEC Tournament to UF but went on the win the NIT back-to-back the same time UF won back-to-back.
We would have that many wins with your schedule. You played 3 ranked teams, all of them SEC teams that you have to play more than once.
It's criminal if SC is not ranked next week.

@@jackjukescott3317if you really think about it. It’s not outrageous because they are 18-3 in one of the best conferences in men’s basketball. They also have a good resume taking down #6 Kentucky(at the time) and now #5 Tennessee. To me they have proved that they are a top 10 team.

It was because of early chances that were blown. I think they should be top 10, maybe 11-13 myself, but losing to Clemson, Alabama, Georgia isn't a good look, especially with how spaced it was. Anytime it was considered > they blew it instantly with a loss.
Now, they are 100% getting ranked, even if they drop one before next week.

@@curlyqv2467 pretty sure it had to do with there point margins. Q1 is overrated either way, especially since ranked teams this year are like 25-29 against non-ranked opponents on the road, which is insane.

UConn
Houston
Purdue
That was a heck of a Tennessee highlight reel, but didn’t the real USC do it to Kentucky last week too?? This is a team that has ice in their veins, learned from the 3 games they lost and are getting it done with Meechie Johnson putting up minimal numbers.

Bama lost to Florida last night.. This UT South Carolina re-match will be for the SEC regular season title. If SC wins they win the sec if TN does then we win. Why do you think they deserve to be? They are a good team, but winning 1 out of 2 games doesn't mean a lot in basketball. It's not convincing enough. If you guys wanted more respect in the polls then starting with a tougher schedule would be a start. You haven't played teams like Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, or UNC like we have. Yet many of you are like,"Beat number 5, but not ranked. That's crazy!". No, it's not.

@@KC_TheCreator Nobody in their right mind takes a preseason poll seriously, it doesn't say much of anything about how a team will perform. It's not that impressive. We were also picked last a few years ago and then were sitting at the top. The best teams you played all year were SEC teams. We played them too and we just won the conference title outright this year. We had the tougher schedule, Barnes makes sure we do.

They played three ranked opponents so far. Teams like Tennessee have played 7. Probably why the pollsters don't think it's all that convincing. Not to mention winning one game out of the season, against a team you play multiple times isn't everything. I mean you guys got whipped by Bama, Tennessee stomped them. Basketball isn't like Football, but it seems some people think it is.
