    I am very excited to see videos that I can understand phonetically well for once. The voice volume is very low and tired sounding but I think the content overall is great! I wish I can see more on the mapping since I cannot figure out how to make more modes appear on the Target side to the Source side.

    • @atarunraj
      @atarunraj  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the feedback. On the target side you should be able to expand the nodes to reveal more.

    • @JenniferOng-h8c
      @JenniferOng-h8c ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atarunraj I have tried but it's empty and i don't have the option to add target nodes.

    Awesome video! Your instructions are very clear/easy to understand, and you don't rush through the tutorial. I was wondering if Oracle has any official community forums for OIC customers to interact and ask questions? Keep up the great work!

    Hi, great tutorial. At the end of the process I want to call a GL Web Service not the file output, but the mapper doesn't show me the fields to map from BI. Is this because it is a CSV output BI report ? Do have an example of a BI report being called and then a Web service being called ?

      I want to run a BI Report which extracts journal debit and credit data (at the moment this is CSV output but can be any that works) then decode and call the SOAP API Payload service that creates journals in the GL Open Interface. Example : Sample Payload For Journal Import Service (Doc ID 2181608.1)
      In the OIC mapper is see the GL API fields to map TO but FROM the BI report no tags to map from the report in reportbytes ? I guess it is to with the BI report output format ? The formats I have available are :- Interactive, HTML, PDF, RTF, Word, Excel (mhtml), Excel (html), Excel (*.xls), powerpoint, MHTML, PDF/A, PDF/X, Zipped PDFs, FO Formatted XML and Data (XML). Any help really appreciated @@atarunraj

    Hi Arun, do you have sample for big report output receive from SOAP
    I got this error CASDK-0059: Unable to process the response received from the client application. The response received by the OIC integration flow is rejected The response received has been rejected since the content received of length 14486590 bytes exceeds the maximum allowed threshold of 10485760 bytes (10 MB)

    • @atarunraj
      @atarunraj  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. It’s a known limitation. Using this process you cannot process files larger than 10 MB. You may want to look at other options. Here is a great tutorial on Bulk Data Extract. I may make a video later on this. Let me know if this helps.

    Hi Arun.Thank you for this video. Nice explanation. Where did you get the WSDL, can we use REST instead of SOAP in this case and why the sizeofdatachunkdownload is '-1'?

    • @atarunraj
      @atarunraj  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Navya. The WSDL can be generated in a few clicks. I don’t believe there is a way to invoke a ERP cloud BI Publisher report using a REST API. Hence SOAP. I have noticed that if you the value as -1 it will generate the entire report output.

  • @dharmender82

    Hi Arun- where did you get that WSDL from which you used in Soa Adaptor.

    • @atarunraj
      @atarunraj  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. If you have access to a SaaS instance you should be able to generate a WSDL. Connect with me on Twitter / LinkedIn / Slack and I can share more details.

    • @atarunraj
      @atarunraj  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback. At this moment the only way to invoke a BIP report is using Web Services. To invoke the web services we need to use the SOAP Adapter.
