@@vedicmetalhead1029 Bass is very important in any rock/metal band, even ones that have the bass just follow the root notes of the guitar because it's what gives the song the thickness and oomf. The bass is literally half the guitar tone, but people don't realize that.

TheSlayerswe only because the bass is turned up so high in maiden. if I had heard it like this all the time, I wouldn't feel anything was wrong with this
LMTR14 You can hear all bass in music. You just don't think about it in some music as it blends in. In Maiden the bass kinda cuts through and is easily heard.
I'm sorry to find this so late; but as through another round of lockdowns as a bass player *(musicians are un-essential as of 2020) this is AWESOME! NO disrespect to Steve Harris undoubtedly the G.O.A.T. of heavy rock bass but playing along with this epic track is awesome! Thanks!
I started listening to tracks with no bass after I saw a video saying the bass was important . I honestly prefer no bass for Peace Sells but for this one I'm more indifferent
I've heard the trooper without drums, and now without bass. both versions just sound hollow, really interesting just how important each part of a band is
I think it's a matter of habit. At first i was in pain before the half of the song. Now I play this normally with 2 fingers. Children of The Damned is a hell of a gallop that makes my wrist hurt...
The thing about mixing music in the 80s was a lot of the bass was mixed with the music in a way that the drums sounded a little more fumbled. Anyone else tell the difference?
This is like going to school without a pen.
Exactly. It's horrible. Mean't for bass players to do covers though.
*cil
The drums sound so lonely here
like leaving your watch on the sink of a public toilet
as a bass player, let me tell you I enjoy this immensely !
And Justice for the Trooper.
You mean ...And Justice For Mind (Original Piece of Mind)
Trooper for all
...And piece for all
@@MirrorsNightmare seems too close
Iron Maiden is a band that I can't imagine without the bass
Steve Harris is the founder and lead songwriter, so Iron Maiden without bass is literally impossible... but science found a way.
same with chili peppers
its literally the rhythm
the Doors too
Si ma
drums sound so lonely.xD
Yeah. That's because drums and bass are the two best friends in a band.
I’m best friends with my guitarist
I’m a bassist
this makes me extremely uncomfortable..
Science has gone too far. We've sinned.
Here's the proof that bass players are very important in a band

Thanks. I´m a bassist and it helped me a lot!
No problems! Happy to help:)
The drums here sounds really nice.
Cömba92 The drums are untouched/original. I guess they stand out more without the bass.
TheSlayerswe Yep, in the original version you can't really hear the kick drumming.

Yeah. They could have used the main riff for a small part later on towards the end of the song.
Lars, is that you?
Its more raw and agressive
Nah, horrible xD
