The animation really helped an argument I was having about having to add to the base. Thank you for clearing this up!!

Fantastic. Mathematics, even the basic concepts, show us what appears so in our eyes can be so untrue.

The animation starting at around 4 minutes into the video was the most valuable for myself and my daughter. That really clarified our questions. Awesome! Thank you! It is pretty cool how the graphics were blended into the video.

One thing I don't understand at 4:00 is why when moving the peak/vertex fo the triangle, it remains on the same line paralel with the base of the triangle. Why doesn it go higher?

What's the background board or software? Is it just a massive touchscreen or did you do it in front of a green screen like weather man? If the latter then how do you even coordinate/synchronize the contents with your own fingers? If the former then that's a fab touchscreen.
The visual effect is superb! Did you do the animation with software like Geogebra or Desmos?

This formula is key to Newton's proof of Kepler's Second Law that the triangles sweep out equal areas in equal time.

Can't we get area of rectangle after doubling the area of obtuse angle triangle? As we can get in acute angle triangle.
    Sir please reply

  • @duckyv.2108

    in a nutshell its
    b(h)/2
(base multiplied by height, then divide that by 2)

Although you were very detailed in your explanation, it didn't provide the help I was seeking.
I have an obtuse triangle with sides measuring 60.5, 24, and 43.8 for the base. (I'm searching for the height. )

  • @vincer9960

This doesn't make sense to me. You said you want to solve the triangle by using BC. Then you went on to use a completely different method by basically drawing another triangle (right triangle) and subtracting that from the total triangle, that method makes sense, no doubt, but you still didn't answer your original question of how to solve using BC.....
