I have a story. I used to go to therapy during a time when I was at my lowest and recovering from trauma. Because of my anxiety I would rip up papers while I was talking with my therapist. Every time I went I noticed there was a lot of toys on her table where we would talk. Some days it would be little fidget toys and some days it would be puzzles. I didn’t think much of it since I just thought she had it out from other clients. Until one day I asked her why she had this new box of this exact toy that u see in this video just sitting there. She said it was for me 🥺 this whole time she was buying toys, puzzles and art games for me to play with while I talked bc she knew that I was anxiously fidgeting with my hands and that I liked to do art. I had such a low view of myself at the time that I couldn’t fathom someone would go out of their way for me. This made me think of her and I’m so grateful for her bc she was such an awesome therapist and basically helped me make a 180 with my life when I was suicidal and severely depressed. This made me think of her again and I hope she is doing well 💖
