I love the Rosa watercolors!! I ordered them a few months back after really enjoying the big dot card I was sent. So pleasantly surprised. Your painting is awesome. I love the looser style.
If you haven't purchased Linday's brushes, don't miss out!! I bought them as soon as they were available and have no regrets. They are worth more than the actual price.
Love Lindsay's brushes! They are a pure joy to paint with🎉 I'll have to finish this tomorrow. As soon as everybody left the house I hauled every piece of materials I needed out of a storage box to the kitchen table and just got the sky and water in when the dogs started asking to go out then it was time to feed them. Then everyone was on the way back and I had to dump my water dry everything and put it all back. Ugh. Omg I do Dr. Seuss trees and flowers! Lol. Thanks Lindsay. I couldn't resist such a sweet landscape. 💜
I love your brushes. Such a joy to paint with. I have to do this landscape in a couple sessions ,as I have to haul out all the materials and set up on the kitchen table when no one is around to also use the table to eat or whatever. Would be a shame to get food splattered on it.😑 Thanks Lindsay 💜
Beautiful painting! Those clouds!! Chef's Kiss😘👏🏻 Generic tree syndrome! Yes!!! I paint so many home portraits for realtor gifts and this part of NC has the same trees and everyone's yard. I find myself painting my stock pine tree, my stock dogwood, etc! I definitely have search to try to find something unique about individual trees. 😂
Reminds me of the lake where I was raised. Our home was on the south end and the east side of the lake was all wooded. So beautiful. You captured your photo in your lovely style. Thanks for sharing.
WoW (❣️❣️❣️) Lindsay you make those granulating colours just shine!! Pure eyecandy and especially on those clouds! Love this painting! Thank you for showing how to do this and how to fix oopsies when they occur! 🤗♥️😍❣️
I love to hear you talk your way through these tutorials. I always learn! I sure do love those granulating paints and hope they are available here soon!!!
Hullo Lindsay, I have to say watching your videos are so informative and inspiring too! I am appreciative that you have a bottom line and must get people to join your teachable classes. I must say that you are so very generous with these amazing paint along videos for FREE here on TH-cam. I have purchased all 4 of the collections and I am just so happy with them! I have yet to find a dud! Not that I expect to find one given that your just an excellent instructor, but we all have off days. Thank you for sharing this wonderful paint tutorial truly easy enough for beginners and challenging for more experienced painters. Please take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
Never seizing to amaze me 😂 and great advice about not drying your granulating colors until they've set in, I do and don't get the granulation I want so yea!!! Thank you, now I know.
This is just so awsome - thank you so much for making these real life watercolour paintings using your own photo material. Well done Lindsay. Wish you a great day.
I love the water reflection. You can call me crazy I always mess that up. You can always add white splatter for some of light effect to show. And that is a nice army green mud lol
So enjoyable as always. Really like the photo from the outing you were sharing with your daughter. It’s 102 degrees today in Oklahoma and we haven’t gotten to the dog days yet. 😊
Love this. Btw if pple want the old youtube style back; you can without cancelling update. change via control + shift + I . Check the application tab. Select cookies click on youtube; on new list find PREF; click that and double click on value ; change f6 to f8. Close the window restart youtube et voila. I have a smaller screen so the bigger thumbnails & new video player settings drive me banana's :P
I love that scene. You have so many lovely places in Maine to paint. Do you have an opinion on granulating medium in comparison to buying a set of granulating pigments?
I don't think the granulating medium is very useful. It can give a sandy l look rather than a pretty granulation and you have to use quite a bit. I'd see what granulating colors you already have and maybe buy a few more to fill in gaps. I have a video and blog post about setting up a granulsting palette with colors you might have already: th-cam.com/video/Sf_UlCnuA74/w-d-xo.html

Oh wow! It's been a cold rainy spring/summer in Maine
This is beautiful. I really love your water. Your reflections are fabulous. I would love to learn more about how to paint reflections.
Thank you so much!
Love the granulating effects in the clouds and the way you paint your trees. So few brushstrokes and a great effect. Thanks for the video Lindsay.
Thank you so much 😀
Wow! I especially like the silky-smooth look of the water and contrast with the moody granulating clouds! You make it look so easy!!
Thank you so much!
Such a beautiful landscape!
Thanks!
This came out so beautifully, Lindsay! I think I'm going to try it. It reminds me of the scenery at our cottage on Lake Superior.
Have fun!
