    I repeatedly listen to this because recently individuals in various disciplines are speaking out about Lincoln as "the great emancipator"; a title he does not deserve.

      I think Lincoln evolved a lot during the war. Shame he got assassinated bc he woulda kept growing . I don’t think anyone else could have walked the fine line of preserving the union and ridding the country of slavery.

      I agree. He doesn't deserve the title the great emancipator. He wasn't concerned with Black people being treated as chattel. His only concern was to save the Union❤.
