- In today's quick tutorial I show you how to fix a dry Sharpie marker as well as how to revive a Sharpie and finally fix dried Sharpie. I use Sharpie markers for a lot of things and sometimes I can go several months without using them. If you do not use them over time the tip can dry out even if you have a cap or retract the tip back into the marker. However, using some simple vinegar or rubbing alcohol, you can quickly and easily revive or restore or fix your dry Sharpie marker so the ink flows to the tip and the Sharpie begins working again as it should.

Do you know any tips to refill? I have the same type of pen
I've never refilled them so I am not sure. Hopefully someone else can chime in with the answer for ya.
Does this work for sharpie highlighters
I haven't personally tried. I would assume so though!
It worked

@@storm_cat2808 just hit writing side on the piece of paper
@@storm_cat2808 Sorry to hear that. Maybe it's out of ink?
Yay
Glad it helped!
How?, i tried to do this trick, my sharpie turns into blue, i tried it again and its all the same, please tell me how to fix it
How old is your shaprie?
Tried this it will work for a few uses but then it doesn't, mine must be out of ink cause I tried three
Yeah, I would guess there is no more ink left
Hold it up side down for a while
Haven't tried that!
Just FYI, that's not real vinegar. Read the ingredients.
I'll have to check it out
I would lie to know the solution to soak pen
Sorry what?
"I would like to know the solution to soak the pen in" I think.
Isopropyl alcohol/Rubbing alcohol
So make sure the tip stays in the pink 😉🤣😂🤣
Hahahaha 😆
Guess I walked into that one
there is NOOOO way you just used ALL of that alcohol to dip the tip for 4 seconds. you could have used less than half an inch of alcohol, I'm not even going to use the metric system because Americans don't know the metric system lol
Sometimes it's just worth buying new ones if it's all dried up
No thanks. Marker is going in the trash.
Sometimes that's the best option if it's too dried out
