after many years using google assistant by humming finally got the title of this song.heard this on the radio it was on the top on our local station here in Ph but i cant remember the exact lyrics.thanks to google assistant
Cornbob Rimlove i agree, a lot of overlooked bands around this time. the fallout of the record industry made it where only huge hit makers got the attention. but other bands like trustcompany and socialburn met the same demise.
Swear to God this band is everything. 2024 about to be 2025 I fucking LOVE Revis. I hold onto this music dearly. Edited* I just keep coming back. I listen to many different genres of music and it’s always Revis man. I was shown this band in my heavy addiction days and it just stuck with me and I looked these guys other stuff up and it’s been revis ever since. There’s very few bands that you can do that with… Wish they’d make music again tbh.
I watched Revis open for Linkin Park and Mudvayne in Wichita, KS. Was a tough crowd since at the time only "Caught in the Rain" was on radio, but I was hooked. I immediately went out and grabbed the album. I love every song, even ones that were never released. I was disappointed when Revis split. So much unheard talent.
Hazard Play That's where I first heard them too! I was really impressed with the singer's volume control. He knew exactly how far to move his mouth toward and away from the mic to make all the vocals the same volume when going from these whisper verses to all out screaming. I was immediately hooked. It was such a chill set too, with everybody sitting down - the guitarist sitting on a cooler. Only time he stood up was to grab another beer from under him. It was a shame they were the opener for those two other bands. With two drum sets behind them they had no stage to work with. Still one of my favorite stumbed-upon bands.
Same! Absolutely pisses me off they couldn't settle their differences and make more music. This album is such a gem. Forever in my top 5 favorite albums, maybe even top 3.
Ok guys. Revis was one of the greatests of all times. That's for sure... Listen to this new band. Not exactly like magnificient Revis but... : sonichits.com/video/Royale/Robots_with_Guns
I'm 51. they're awesome. I think they somehow got lost in the shuffle because breaking Benjamin and smile empty soul along with a few other similar bands were coming up at the same time.
This song reminds me of a very specific time in my life. I was on my way to US Army Basic Training and this song was the last song I listened to before I got off the plane in Columbia, SC and arrived at reception. It was playing in my head while I was going through Basic Training. "Can I be changed, or am I the same...Can I be the same?"
My teenage years these guys inspired me. I was to young and dumb to care who they were. I just assumed they were really good and everyone was listening. Now 10 years later I understand that a band as talented as these guys have to make the right moves to become famous. But nregardless of the fame. I remember..., the music will always be in me. The impact was real.
Remember the caught in the rain. Was listening to trapt echo and someone mentioned Revis. So putter in the search bar and here we are. Fashionably late to the party and I've got say they rock
Listened to this band back in my teens. It feels so nostalgic now. And interesting to think how much I have changed and how much I'm still the same. Still love this music. 🤟❤️
In 05-06, my older brother was going to Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Fuel came and played a free show at the school and Revis opened for them. My brother bought this album and brought it home. This had been one of my favorite rock albums since. It's really sad that this band ended up breaking apart.
I discovered them when they opened for Evanescence in 2003. It was Revis, Finger Eleven, Cold, and Evanescence, and honestly, Revis blew Finger Eleven and Cold out of the water. Bought the album that same weekend, and I always come back to their music.
God damn this band was awesome. I get such a huge mix of emotions when I listen to them, I don't get that from ANY other group. Their music got me through a lot of really super shitty times in my life. Really sad they didn't put out anymore music. I could listen to these guys all day... In fact I just might...
ShirtRIPPA83 revis is awesome but they sound like Breaking Benjamin, 3 days grace, hinder, Shinedown, creed, etc...emotional...try Cold, that’s some good sh$&
I first bought their album in Afghanistan 2004. I exercised to the whole album. So many memories. The lyrics mean something. Today's music is so dumbtarded. This band was the real deal.
This is a throw back from hell. I turned 41 yesterday. I was prolly 18-19 years old when this came out I am guessing. Listened to it all. What a time to be alive. Wish I could go back and change some decisions I made
one of those rare "full package" deals; lyrics, vocals, instrumentals, composition, energy,... in my opinion, perfect. there wasn't a single bad song on this album
Thus is one of the most underrated songs and videos ever. 21 years later I still love this song as much as the first time I ever heard it and this remains one of my favorite music videos as well. It's too bad they broke up after just one album.
I kinda believe it had something to do with where they were from. At least two of them were from Benton Illinois where I lived and tbh, it's a shithole and I think it made alot of bigwigs not want to get behind them
I still have this cd stashed in my collection....I remember having it playing non stop after I bought it..not only caught in the rain...and seven..but the whole damn cd was good...
Dear Chester, today I woke up without purpose, just anger and fear. But as the minutes passed I was reminded that I wasn't alone. I didn't have some wild revelation or some miracle hand reaching to me. I just turned on my music and I was reminded that I wasn't alone. Sometimes I forget where I'm standing... sometimes I fight the air... sometimes I push away my loved ones, but in reality... I'm just scared. But you know... it's okay. Thank you Chester. I'll never be there for you the way you were there for me but... it inspires me. It Inspires me to be there for somebody even if I can't be there for myself. And that's okay. I can be happy with that. And from that understanding I feel like I understand you a little more...
Man, I loved this song. Brings back so many memories. I'll listen to the entire album, now! I so wish they could have put out more music. And, I was never able to see them live - that would have been a killer concert.
Megan, I'm reaching out to random people on TH-cam because I'm a self promoting fool I suppose. Anyway, check out my music GEORGE CATE on whichever digital store/streaming service you prefer. If you like what you hear, please share with your friends, if not, then that's great too. I'm trying to get a feel for the demographic my band,I'm putting together, will be targeting. Trying to get the album to the live stage but need to know how to market it. Thanks in advance!!!

couldn't of said it better myself. ' huge mix of emotions" . the whole album has been my favorite album of all time. The whole album makes my hair stand on end. so powerful and disgustingly strong. besides the lyrics the hooks and melody and his voice just makes say " fuck yeah" everytime i hear this album.
I used to play this CD on my portable CD player on the school bus for the forty minute drive into school, in damp dark Oregon early in the morning. They're amazing and completely underrated, but I feel kind of special to be one of the few that knows and appreciates their talent. Your loss bitches.
02 I brought the most beautiful girl i ever met to this show. She assured me we would always be friends(she had a bf) I'm glad to say we are still friends. She is also my wife 😊❤❤❤
all these years have passed and i still get goosebumps when i hear Seven, Caught In the Rain & Searching for Someone (and all the rest). Justin has one of the best voices in rock ever. this album is still amazing and how they were not huge, i will never ever understand.
I got to see them with Cold and Evanescence at the Kansas State Fair one year. Their bus broke down so they didn't have any of their instruments, so they borrowed some acoustics from a local store or something and did and acoustic set. It was a pretty awesome way to open that show.
Here in 2024 ❤
2025
They deserved to be HUGE
Still one of the best in my opinion
Any Revis fan out there is a friend of mine...✌
Hey friend 👍🏾
This. Song. Fucks! Still so good.
Aaaaeeee dawg what's good!?
I've been jammin Places to Breathing so much lately and their song From That Point On.
🤘
most underrated band ever?
Captainrandom
don't know if that's true but i would believe you...
These guys seriously fucked themselves, they could have been HUGE. I had seen them in Carbondale back in teh day. AWESOME.
So true so underrated.
maybe they didn't want to become famous, there are a lot of downsides about being well known, you know
The didn't want to be famous ENOUGH to get along. Bad luck and bad contracts took them down.
Still listning in 2023 🤘🤘🤘
Me too
after many years using google assistant by humming finally got the title of this song.heard this on the radio it was on the top on our local station here in Ph but i cant remember the exact lyrics.thanks to google assistant
Very rarely there is a song you hear and never forgot again. This is one of the songs.
My tune would be “Living Rooms”. An absolute madness!
Lost my dad beginning of this year. This song makes me think of him every time. Thank you.
Their music is so good for healing and pain and anger and just being human. They captured the human essence so well.
Sorry to read that , he is there with you trust me , as long as you remember him
THIS WHOLE ALBUM WAS AND IS A MASTER PIECE IN EVERY WAY! ADULT MUSIC WITH A MELODY AND A LYRIC>>>>>>> AWESOME. TOP 10 ALBUMS OF ALL TIME FOR ME
Cornbob Rimlove i agree, a lot of overlooked bands around this time. the fallout of the record industry made it where only huge hit makers got the attention. but other bands like trustcompany and socialburn met the same demise.
Yes it was. My gf at the time bought me this album at Hollister. Lol! Kind of miss those times
Hell yea this album is gold.
Totally agree. One my favorite sing-alongs.
So glad I saw them at Edgefest in Tulsa, as there would not have been another chance.
You guys came out with this greatness just a few years too early. You could have been kings...
no kidding man! I hear ya completely!
=(
egg surprise
A few years too early for what, the literal death of the recording industry? You nonsense person you..
Stephen, I hear you there. Lol
Swear to God this band is everything. 2024 about to be 2025 I fucking LOVE Revis. I hold onto this music dearly.

fablesofbeasts that would be a sweet concert. revis and linkin park
I would have loved that concert too. Revis, Mudvayne, and old school Linkin Park? That's a boatload of powerful epic music.
I saw them in Lincoln NE on the same tour and was blown away, never knowing who they were. Been a fan ever since
Yo! I was there, too. People were throwing shit at them, but I thought they were awesome.
What a masterpiece of an album. The music, the singing.....and most all the perfect studio production!!!!!
We need revis back . Pleade do a reunion tour or something man WE ALL MISS YOU GUYS !
It’s happening. 3 dates so far. Herrin and Bloomington, Illinois as well as Louisville, Kentucky.
@@billjeffords1137 They also released an EP, it's on all the streaming platforms.

One of my favourite CD's , brings back memories from high school. I'm glad they got back together and put out a new CD.

They're back and touring my friend.
Revis for the win
This entire album is nothing but bangers.

One of the best song ever, i don't really understand why all new music is pure shit and still breaking records
Been a fan since they were called Orco I'm from a town 10 minutes from where these guys are from love them
Still my all time favorite band ❤
Justin from revis did an interview recently on TH-cam good stuff for fans

I couldn't agree more!
Me too!
Couldn't agree more...just an amazing album

Killer! The most unsung heroes of rock music in the day. Too much fame, too early? Bad management? One of the best complete albums forever!
Bad label, disastrous.
God damn this band was awesome. I get such a huge mix of emotions when I listen to them, I don't get that from ANY other group. Dude, they've gotten me through the worst year of my life. I feel the same emotions listening to them as well.
The term shirtRIPPA! Comes from one of the greatest movies of all time. Thank you for reminding me that my nipples look like milk duds.
Same, this early 2000s wave of rock is one of the few awesome memories from back then.
ShirtRIPPA83 revis is awesome but they sound like Breaking Benjamin, 3 days grace, hinder, Shinedown, creed, etc...emotional...try Cold, that’s some good sh$&
I love this song
Been rocking this shit for years and still to this day🤘 seether, smile empty soul, three days grace, shinedown, chevelle, metallica, you get the gist !!!!
Yes, I do
Some bands just don't "TAKE THE MONEY".😊
i sang this song randomly at work today after all these years. wish these guys were still around
I knew em when they were oroco in Carbondale. The way they could take words and change em around put in order and turn it into a song
Glad Justin went back to the Lord and is doing worship music now.
Tell me more
We all have journey
I first bought their album in Afghanistan 2004. I exercised to the whole album. So many memories. The lyrics mean something. Today's music is so dumbtarded. This band was the real deal.

Good grief what a great song! ❤
this song hits me hard like a punch in the heart, make me cry and hardest moment of my life, love this band.
10 years had passed and still awesome til this day.
Loved them where’d they go??
They just released an EP!
Something about this song that never feels old, it aged really good.
I just cant understand why these guys werent huge...
I kinda believe it had something to do with where they were from. At least two of them were from Benton Illinois where I lived and tbh, it's a shithole and I think it made alot of bigwigs not want to get behind them
Also my old friend amos Beasley was their lead guitarist before they hit the big stage.
13 years later and this song is still therapeutic. It still heals the chaos.
Still listening in 2022

Omg I jammed this album like crazy when I first learned to drive so many years ago 🥰

Every piece we collect
Every piece taken away
We will never be the same
We will never be the same
Little moments granting us reflection, keep us turning pages, never ending, clutching precious fragments of what we loved about ourselves.
Stuck between vanity and obscurity
Collecting all those little insecurities
Hoping they will preserve what we were
Praying we can collect enough of ourselves to save on a shelf
But it's not enough
And that's okay....
The soul saves every page we've ever written on ourselves
Distant but kept sacred in the iris
It's not over
It's not over
Not without breath
Not without a heartbeat in our chest

This album is pure gold.
They could have been fire with that Post-Grunge sound through the years...
Randomly thought of this band! I loved this album . Underrated band
Greatness that could have been, the endless wonder of songs unrecorded
indeed, man
Still Miss you all!! - The Rock Show With Fret and Stoney. I still have your signed framed autographs
Still bummed there's no new music from them. This album is perfect from beginning to end
There is now!
one of the best songs
I remember listening to this song when I was a kid. It always sorta stuck in my head but I've never been able to remember this song until now 😭
I remember losing this CD after only listening to it a few times and being devastated.
Love..... Memories this song takes me back thx Revis for making this Beautiful
