For a while, it was a boom time for Big Brother. Channel 5 cut back on the gimmicks a bit and started to produce it more confidently than the later Channel 4 years. But it only lasted a couple of years, then it went full throttle rubbish. It's at its very worst now.
C5's production in the early days was bloody awful, it's only recently where the editing has actually become a lot more slick, although since you posted that a year ago you were probably right at the time 😅
