Please bring the old songs back. They tell the story of Jesus and his love, salvation. I miss them. I find now in church that people just stand there watching the performers on stage, watching a screen and they aren't even participating in singing. Singing the old hymns together are so powerful with the gospel nessage. I miss those gospel messages. I still have one of the old gospel hymnal song books and read those beautiful truths. I am sadden that young people haven't heard those hymns today. Years gone by and we have lost those holy spirit gospel filled messages. Those songs written years ago authors who witnessed God's salvation, his amazing awesome love.Those gospel songs can't be replaced. Songs like, l Have A Risen Savior He Lives He Lives Christ Jesus Lives Today Because He Lives In My Heart Today and Down At The Cross Where My Savior Died.
The stories of Salvation written in those old gospel songs. Longing to hear those precious heart felt hymns in churches again.

I love that at Grace Community Church we sing old hymns together. "He will hold me fast". "How great thou art". "His robes for mine". Wonderful worship to Our great GOD and Savior!

So true. Children learn those songs and sing them for years as they come to know God. You don’t forget them ever. I still sing them. Churches, please bring back those beautiful praise hymns. God sees all things.

The church I go to in my hometown has everyone singing and praising along with the hyms, everyone sings and it sounds beautiful! We have a wonderful pianist and a retired highschool band director conducting everyone as we all face the cross and perform for The Most High God! I prayed that God would give me a church that sang and worshipped with joyfulness and he granted it to me.
I'm forever blessed for my church and my pastor, even if my husband and I are the youngest adults there by a couple of decades lol. They even have the children learn to sing, to prepare them for when they come up with the adults ❤️ they sound beautiful when you hear them practicing during the sermons 😊.

(God's work throughout His administration is very clear. There are clear differences between each age, because in each age He has a work to represent that age. For the work of the last days to be fulfilled, there must be obedience, judgment, chastisement, wrath, and destruction to bring the age to an end. The last days refer to the final age. "That is, in the Age of Law, Jehovah is the name of God, and in the Age of Grace, the name Jesus represents God. In the last days, His name is Almighty God--the Almighty and He uses His power to guide man, conquer man, gain man, and ultimately wipe out the age." I am the God who rose from ends of the earth, I am full of disposition and full of authority, honor, and glory. From the creation of the World until now, no one has known Me. This is the God who appears to man in the last days but is hidden from men. There is not one person or thing that will not be judged by My words, and there is not one person or thing that will not be purified by the burning fire. In this way all people during the last days will see that I am the Savior who has returned. I am the Almighty God who will conquer all mankind. I took this name and I own this disposition, so that all people can see that I am a righteous God, and I am the blazing sun and the burning fire. And see clearly My true face: I am not only the God of the Israelites, and I am not just the redeemer--I am the God of all creation in the whole sky and earth and sea.)
Almighty God said
"GOD'S WORK in the WHOLENESS of His GOVERNMENT is VERY CLEAR. The AGE OF GRACE is the age of grace, and the LAST DAY is the last day. There are CLEAR DIFFERENCES BETWEEN each AGE, because in EACH AGE He has a WORK to REPRESENT in that age. I have once been recognized as Jehovah.
I have also been called the Messiah, sometimes people called Me Jesus, Savior because they loved and respected Me. My day starts with talking to my Heavenly Father, and there are many times I've experienced what you said pastor Hibbs, deep sighing and groanings , tears falling , but I know the Holy Spirit is there ministering to me, better yet Jesus is making intercession for me. As I mature in Christ this means more and more to me. ❤

Americans are turning back to God, I am happy to draw closer to him because of you.
I do know older Christian's that wait until the music is over, which normally starts at the beginning of Sunday Service, because we miss HYMN'S. We know they started using " New Age" type music to attract the younger generation but why did we have to eliminate ALL of the old HYMN'S?? Hymns have been around for over 200 years in the United States and a very important part of the service. There is " feeling" in HYMN'S. Less people are going to Church now than ever before. Maybe if they could just do half New Age and half of the Old Hymn's. Just a thought that I hear other " older" Christian's mention. God Bless i

The FOURTH is threats and enticements. That is, Satan uses various tricks to get you to accept it, follow it, work in its service. It WILL DO EVERYTHING to ACHIEVE its GOALS. Sometimes it gives you SMALL favors, WHILE it LEADS you to SIN. If you DO NOT FOLLOW it, it WILL TORTURE you and PUNISH you, and it WILL USE various METHODS to ATTACK you and TRAP you. 🙏🌹🙏
The fifth is deception and paralysis. "Deception and paralysis" is Satan's construction of certain sounding words and ideas to suit the minds of the People, to make it seem as if it takes into account the physical condition of their lives and tomorrow, when the truth is it isits only purpose is to deceive you.
Then it paralyzes you so that you do not know what is right and what is wrong, so you are deceived without knowing it and come under its control.
The sixth is the destruction of body and mind.
Which part of man does Satan destroy? (Man's mind and whole being) SATAN DESTROYES your MIND, REMOVES you of the ABILITY to RESIST, which MEANS your HEART will slowly TURN against SATAN when you least expect it. 😢
It instills these things in you every day, every day using these ideas and cultures to influence and deceive you, slowly destroying you, so that you no longer want to stand up for what you call righteousness.
You don't realize it, you don't have it anymore
KEEPING SWIMMING AGAINST the CURRENT, INSTEAD of just WAITING for it.
"Destruction" MEANS that SATAN TORTURES people so MUCH that they BECOME SHADOWS of THEMSELVES, NO LONGER PEOPLE. This is where SATAN LIVES, CHOKING and SWALLOWING THEM. 🙏
Each of these tricks that Satan uses to CORRUPT MAN can take away man's power to fight; any of these are DEADLY to PEOPLE. Simply put, whatever Satan does and whatever trickery he uses can weaken you under SATAN'S CONTROL and SUBMERGE you in a MASSAGE of EVIL and SIN.
These are the DECEPTIONS that SATAN USES to CORRUPT PEOPLE.
What are the consequences of Satan's corruption of the People? What corrupt dispositions do they express and reveal? (PRUDENCE and PRIDE, SELFISHNESS and DISGUSTINGNESS, BADNESS and DECEPTION, CRUELTY and MALICUS, and COMPLETE INHUMANITY.) 😪
In sum, we can say that they have no personality.
In summary, the things that stand out the most about corrupt humanity are ARROGANCE, DECEPTION, MALICIOUSNESS, and SELF-CONFIDENCE. 😪
However, you all missed one thing.
PEOPLE have NO CONSCIENCE, LOST their RIGHTEOUSNESS and have NO HUMANITY----YET there is ONE who does VERY IMPORTANT THING you DIDN'T MENTION, that is, "betrayal" 😢😢
The FINAL CONSEQUENCE of these DISPOSITIONS that EXIST in ANY person the MOMENT they are CORRUPTED by SATAN is their BETRAYAL to GOD. 🙏

most people's idols are themselves. The hardest idol to destroy as it's insidious. You don't even know your worshiping self until God reveals it to you. We need to bound God and country again.
I am using several of your points in a devotion given to my group of widows. They have helped me so much and I am praying they will help them. Women sometimes think they have to be strong for the rest of the family and hold their grieve in. Groaning can be a great release.
I lost my husband in 2021 a few weeks later a Christian said take of your rings your not married, I explained that I’ll never marry again and wait until I can be with my husband to be told I’ll never see him again, death ends it and heaven so big we will never see each other, this is not what we were taught in church so I’m so confused.
A few weeks ago I listened to a Pastor who said if you remarried you will be left behind even tho you think you are saved, I explained I left a violent marriage unsaved, eventually I meet someone who turned out to be my 2nd husband he was an atheist, wee fell in love. I planned to see a medium as I’d lost my mum but God guided me to a church, wee went although Mike not happy eventually I got saved, a few months later Mike got saved, I talked with God about us getting married not wanting to go against God it came into my head have a conversation with R my ex, I knew that if we were to be reunited God would stop the abused but also I would have to stop relationship with M.
The conversation when I asked maybe we should get counselling and try again he replied, I have no problem with you except your a Christian I want no part in that.
I married M, when I explained this the pastor said it wasn’t God guiding me I sinned so either I’ll be left behind or God took my husband so I’m not in adultery when he comes, I am devastated and feel it’s pointless doing this walk to be left behind anyway.
Grief is killing me i miss my husband so much and not ever to see him again hurts so much.
I wanted to see Jesus and my husband
That is why there is the book of Lamentations. It is ok to lament. It is not complaining. It Is telling your Father in heaven what your heart is feeling. 😊
