My dream is to fly you to my property one day, when I have a larger basement, and install one of these units. All expense paid trip!! I think this is the coolest thing.
This is a good example of the point I was trying to make on another of your videos. By cutting the wrapping paper at about two-thirds or three-quarters of the way down the lane, you're assuming that the fact that this lane is scaled down will hold true for the ball reaction as well. I would argue that the ball needs a minimum number of feet to be able to react, and the "scale" of the lane won't change the number of feet it needs. So, I'd love to see you try this again, but next time cut the wrapping paper just past the arrows. Scale-wise it won't make sense, but the number of feet the ball needs to react ought to be about right. Similarly, as I mentioned on another one of your videos, when you applied Pledge to the lane, if you'd only sprayed a very light coating and only applied it down to the arrows (or maybe even a foot or so short of the arrows), I think you then might see some skid at the front and some back end reaction down lane the way you'd hoped. (Now that I've watched further into the video, I see that you did this...and got the reaction I figured you might.)
I haven’t watched your stuff in a while and I just watched your practice session from around 4 weeks ago and you’re throwing the ball really well! Just wanted to say great improvements and always love these vids too. Keep doing what you’re doing!
Cool idea! This may be a decent way to get a house shot look, would just need to tape the wrapping paper onto the lane and leave the outsides with no paper
To me it just looks like the Badger oil pattern but just on a mini bowling lane since you said there's barely any hook and you kept rolling your ball near the center of the lane.
The paper is lower friction than the lane, and with no oil and no core to get a reaction the ball has to see friction as soon as possible, which is why you start seeing it break later in the video. Just my thoughts as someone who lives and breathes small ball bowling👍🤙
2:43 "and nothing really changed" yeah obviously when you throw it that fast it's not gonna hook any more than before goofy. Slow your speed a little to see results
Now you have 3 oil patterns...you practically make a league if the pandemic is over

Haha, thank you for the kind words!
Why don’t I have this in my house yet
Same
Me too
I want it too
Warping paper? Just joking

Hello Coach Randy
Holy crap, it's been 3 years since I've watched your videos, your voice has changed loads
Imagine if someone did this on a real bowling lane 😆😆
Woahhh Big fan man!
@@mikecodm8430 Appreciate it!
@Ethan Oh I would pay SO MUCH to see that happen 🤣
The paper would instantly just rip lol
Also big fan too
Fun idea!

@@BraedanBrennaman you can use this as a oil pattern
When are you making more mini bowling vid
@braedan brennaman have you ever been think of a proch to Stand on leveled with the lane?
Cool idea! This may be a decent way to get a house shot look, would just need to tape the wrapping paper onto the lane and leave the outsides with no paper
That lane looks good with that wrapping paper
Agreed
Random question but what do you think if I were to make a mini lane out of cardboard? Think it would work well?
That’s a wrap up shot for a Great video
I love your videos i wish i had a mini bowling lane
This seems like a reenactment of Perry-Austen developing Guardian Overlay back in the 80s. I like it! 🎄
For a video idea you should wrap all your mini bowling balls and pins!
That looks so fire
Wrapping paper on the first 3/4 of the lane and powdered sugar on the last quarter for a nice long skid and a powerful back end reaction. 😀
Did you make this or can you buy it somewhere??
Very similar to the US Open pattern, oiled straight across...cool
your cat is cute
Thanks :)
That’s so creative! 😂
Thanks man!!
That one pin flew up
Hey I enjoyed it I should post some videos of my mini bowling lane in my basement
Intresting
:)
To me it just looks like the Badger oil pattern but just on a mini bowling lane since you said there's barely any hook and you kept rolling your ball near the center of the lane.
Do you ever plan to make your pin setter automatic instead of manual.
Sadly not
The powdered sugar was a great video to show the track of your shots.
Where do u get ur bowling balls, pins, and the supplies?
I mention all of that in my tutorial: th-cam.com/video/fN5FknIzCKU/w-d-xo.html
If people complain about not being enough oil on the lanes, tell them to put some wrapping paper down.
Like the badger pattern but buffed
Ur such a great youtuber
How did you get the roll 1 and 2 lights and the strike and spare sign above the pins?
I have made a few videos about it.
Here’s one:
th-cam.com/video/J-zEj6Y2Ge0/w-d-xo.html
Is there any way that you can make the pin setter set itself instead of you doing it?
That would be wicked cool 😎
That’s cool nice job
Thanks!
Merry Christmas
Can u show me how u made this bowling alley?
I have a tutorial on my channel, thats the best guidance I have.
Where can I get one of these
I always dreamed of having this
This man is waiting for chrishtmas
Looks fun!
You're back.... I'm dreaming
:)
Do you know any places you can buy these i know yours is home made
ballbowler.com/
Where does one get a mini bowling lane?
This one is homemade. People do sell them though, but they’re quite expensive.
ballbowler.com
1:59 ya hate to see it.
You should do a video where you add abralon to your mini bowling balls. 4000 down to 500. That would be cool
I seriously need to get this in my house
Highly recommended :)
I wonder how long you hade powdered sugar in your carpet
Not long actually, I remember cleaning it up. It was easier than I expected
you could literally create oil patterns with wrapping paper, since it doesn’t hook as much!
The ultimate challenge would be covering only the back half in paper, would be tough to get the ball to roll i tot the pins
The paper is lower friction than the lane, and with no oil and no core to get a reaction the ball has to see friction as soon as possible, which is why you start seeing it break later in the video. Just my thoughts as someone who lives and breathes small ball bowling👍🤙
I haven't seen your videos since the pandemic.
Lockdown must’ve been a blast for you😂
Mini bowling lane definitely got more use 🤷♂️😅
Hey man, it’s good to experiment sometimes.
Simp city OP!
Mini PBA Badger
What you should do is cut the wrapping paper in the shape of an oil pattern
Man thought it was going to be super grippy lol
Gotta do this on real lanes
Good video
Thank you :)
PLS make a q&a
i thought thought the paper would make it extra grippy but hey i was wrong
Everytime I watched u
1:57 7-10!!!
Haha 1:58
lmao wrapping paper is a substitute for oil pattern practice xd
Yes 😎
I wish I had my own lane
You should have used cheaper/thinner wrapping paper
@@bowlingking300 you are XD
I’m surprised it didn’t rip originally...
Me too, really thought it would.
Then when you cut it up it became the bear pattern on steroids, then the wolf pattern on steroids
I would love to make this as I am a DIYer but after calculations this would be over 200 dollars which the money I don't have.
Pba Badger pattern mini version
That’s what it felt like.
New video live in 5 min
Bowl using croquet balls
Can you build me one and ship to my house?
So the badger pattern on steroids
2:43 "and nothing really changed" yeah obviously when you throw it that fast it's not gonna hook any more than before goofy. Slow your speed a little to see results
That’s a wrap
