It's the recording software having to register the vast amount of pixels on the screen. The sight when set far can provide amazing vistas when not moving but in constant movement the recording software I've seen so far hasn't kept up with it yet. Don't know anyone with Sony Vegas that has recorded this game, but you may need premium software just to prevent graphical smears.
