    Alternative News...i think your right.
The look of love is in their eyes,
And their body language. It's undeniable. Don't know if they are a couple. Last I heard Adele was pregnant. But sometimes it's inevitable. When you do scenes like these your are bound to develop feelings for your costar. Sometimes you can control it and other times you end up behaving like...........well like this. I think its great. Let love rule.💘💘💘

I think the main point of this film was that they were somehow made a real couple, so that everything could be as natural as possible in the film, as they said themselves this like many times, its not even a secret for anyone who has a brain. Lea said at the premiere at Toronto film festival "what you see on the screen, is real", when asked about their relationship in film. Check it out. However, journalists kept asking them wrong questions, such as "are you gay in real life", and they naturally replied something like "no", but nobody asked them the questions like: have you been gay for your partner in this film, and for a while after the shooting? That was in my opinion right question. Anyway, this film is unique, and these two actresses are unique, for being able to pass through all that experience, and the director is genius.

I think what Léa means by what you see onscreen is 'real' means a genuine affinity and affection. That doesn't always translate to real-world romance. Don't get me wrong. I think they are one of the most realistic and beautiful cinematic couples in history and it resonated with Viewers more at Cannes 2013, that they truly like and respect one another off screen too. That doesn't happen often.
Both actresses were in long-term relationships during the filming and after. For the majority of the time Adèle was with Jérémie for at least 4 years and Léa has been with André for 5+ years. It's very apparent they share something that is very special. Both have said it separately and together, in interviews and it was sometimes difficult for them to articulate exactly what it was. I think they went through a lot during the filming and it became a bonding experience where they needed one another's support to get through the hardship of the process. That's why they were so overcome at Cannes, from the initial overwhelmingly positive reception of the movie, to the grand prize.

I think you have just said a pretty much the same thing like me. Knowing the methods of Abdellatif Kechiche as a film director, and having seen his other films, it pretty much makes sense to say that the actresses were brought into the situation to act, think, and feel pretty much as a real couple during the filming, in order to achieve an absolute authenticity, which is absolutely Kechiche style. That explains the closeness Lea and Adele demonstrated in Cannes, and for the whole year after the filming, which is quite unusual for the acting co-stars in the film. So, when Lea says "its real", it does not change the facts that they had boyfriends at the time. During the film set shooting, they were a sort of couple, because that was for the sake of film, that is what Lea meant, I would say, and this is also a revolutionary move. That is why many filmmakers hate Kechiche, because he gets better results in his films - actors who do think and feel what they play.
