I was there. Had the 4 day pass. My kids and i couldn’t really enjoy because so many people and long lines for everything!!! i enjoyed being there nice experience. I was dressed as the old school mortal kombat- Kitana
Just got home from Day 3, thanks for posting this, appreciate the walking footage without any unnecessary commentary. Masks were required but as you can see only about half wore them. To those that waited in a long line to enter: the side entrance to the West Hall on Chick Hearn Way had zero line all 3 days. Miss the late night screening rooms at the JW Marriott, but still had a fun time.
Recently went to the Saturday event with my friends and it was also my very first time attending Anime Expo! Really had a blast going there! We're all planning to get the 4 day pass once badges go on sale again! Also for anyone who attended Anime Expo on Saturday, I'm the guy who was walking around wearing an official DVD copy of Cory in the House duct taped to a lanyard lmao
Haven't ben to AX since 2019. Hopefully this year though 🙏 Awesome video. Love the simple walkthrough here. Definitely gives you a sense of the environment for those who have yet to attend
Same. Well, I did get to attend 2022. But it was only Day 1 on account of their AMV contest. I not only go there to watch competitors videos, but I am also a competitor myself. I got an honorable mention that year! Haven’t gotten something like that since AX 2015. My entries all go to my channel each year after people have viewed it at the event.
Hello i like to say thank you very much for Rotating the video here i I couldn't been there o becomes my boss at work need me this year so thanks i thank i feel better I mean really thank you so much Right now I'm crying Because I couldn't have been there and i love Anime and cosplayers it something that make me happy but sad at the same time 😭🙏👏👏👏👏
Haven't been to AX since 2014. I don't live in L.A. But Ive been 5 times. Looks like high tech upgrades to the shop stalls. I am getting the impression there is more casual than cosplay.
Unfortunately i was only able to go sunday but i still had a blast. Cant wait to return back to the LA convention center again for LA Comic Con in december!
1) It wasn't as bad as Day 1 but it got close to it in the afternoon. 2) Is it just me, or wasn't there more than 1 room that previewed anime's in the past Anime Expo's? This time is was just one room, 402 I believe. Not counting the exterior stuff like JW Marriott. 3) How come the walkthrough doesn't look as crowded as it does in person, lmao? 4) How was it like in the JW Marriott this year? I didn't go cuz there was nothing there that interested me. But in the past, they hosted some good panels and anime debuts. And it was crowded.
thx for the vid. I was skimming because I was looking for the Azur Lane section. I was pretty salty that you kept showing genshin, and azur lane was behind on it. In hindsight though, im very thankful for the video. I would have only gone to see Azur Lane stuff, and seeing that it was just put in a small 1 way section behind arknights and across genshin main booth, with practically nothing besides a cool stage. I am sorta glad I didn't waste all the money to go there and be dissappointed.

Sorry to hear that, but you were right, it was very crowded! Maybe Monday will clear up a little bit.

your mask was on, that's all that's necessary. everyone is guaranteed the flu at every convention since the beginning of cons
Good to see it’s just as crazy and overwhelming as I remember.
OMG so many people... lol Nicely done! Love the video!!!
Thank you! We are planning to do every event we are a part of 😀
ありがとうございます😊From Tokyo Japan 🇯🇵
Went Saturday too. It was great walking back into AX and being greeted by that inflatable Luffy.
こんなに海外のファンがいることに驚き
TBH you gotta love how crazy and crowded artists ally gets like a masochistic love
I cried when I learned that Japanese anime was so loved by Americans.
Yeah it’s loved in the us extremely
ありがとうThank you
man i havent been there since 2019
but i cant wait to come back this year
there is another area underground called the artist alley, a bunch people missed it
I definitely missed that part lmao
Saturday is definitely not the day to go if you’re claustrophobic. Sunday and Monday were much better crowd-wise and not as stressful to navigate
Great video, no commentaries, quick to the point, and thorough!!!!
From the uk 🇬🇧, I really hope to fly to the us to visit an anime expo sometime with friends. It would be very nice to do so.
Nice smooth video! I couldn't go this year. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing this! I was there from noon until closing. It's been 6 years since I last visit AX and I had a great time!
Welcome to Anime Expo 2022. But two years ago, it was cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak.
No shit Sherlock

The interior did have air conditioning. It was so freak'n hot outside when I attended there! I didn't want to go outside.
