I wanna use the Pomodoro method because I am very good at it (sort of) but when watching these study channel they say to use the flow state I am kinda lost please help
Hi!!! I've heard of flow state, but I'm not the most clear about what it is. If you're referring to flow state as in a state of mind where you're super focused (like how some of the youtubers describe it), then yup I've experienced it. It happens sometimes when I'm writing a paper and I end up being so in the flow and writing it for 3-7 hours - but it's not something that happens everyday! Realistically, school and other commitments (part-time work etc) are really taxing, so it's completely okay if you don't have enough energy/focus to study for long hours without breaks. Instead, I'd recommend that you just use your strength (being good at the pomodoro method) and get your work done that way. If along the way you suddenly become very focused and get in the flow, you can ignore the breaks and just keep working on; but if you can't, that's perfectly fine as well :) Don't get too stressed about needing to achieve flow state hehe!!
