- Hey, this is a long one. The McNasty video. My back is killing me, but it was very good. Thanks for watching everyone and enjoy.

Put that on my headstone.
Atlantis and Treasure Planet are 2 of the most underrated animated movies ever. Both amazing.
Yeah, I love the animation style.
100%
12:20 Fun fact. British traded so much spices that it they became so affordable for British people that even lower class citizens(Not the lowest ones living in absolute poverty, duh) could afford it and were using them. Then nobility decided they need to be different from those "lowly peasants" and stopped using spices. Lower class people saw this and decided to copy what nobility was doing because stupid trends were always a thing even without tiktok and now all british food is bland
Bland=British English for inedible slop. Boiled lacking any noticeable differences
As a brit we do use spices sometimes but honestly it's stupid I use them the same way Americans use bullets alot all over the place
@@Acewiththespades So you keep your spices in a safe and never use them? Nice job of confirming stereotypes lol.
@@connordlthegamer2980Well, they may also keep their spices holstered and go to spice ranges for fun. The usage is broad.
@@Good_Hot_Chocolate Keeping bullets holstered is low key fucking weird
35:50 - Yes, it is the white building they enter in Band of Brother, where they find all the booze. That was Hermann Görings manson, Episode 9 if I'm not mistaken.
That's pretty cool.
So basically that supply drop you see in Band of Brothers was thanks to Jake and his men!
That's pretty awesome.
The story of this dude is amazing and a crazy ride.
It makes me feel like I haven't done anything. What a jerk lol.
@@CinesterCharlieI really understand what you mean.
@@CinesterCharlie🤣 yeah i know the feeling
@@CinesterCharlie There's always a bigger fish dude.

Had the pleasure to eat in the officers mess hall when I was a kid visiting Lackland Air force Bass. The double cheeseburger was amazing.
Turns out that attack across the ravine wasn't a life time supply of shitty ideas. That was 700 life times supply of shitty ideas.
I had my first job at 14 i realized by watching and listening to the grown ups around me i figured out that if you don't have any special skills or education you better work hard and hope it gets noticed if its not move on
Yeah, I'm with ya on that one doggie.
We did desert training at that airforce base when I was in the Army, and yeah, they had a mall and a movie theater when I was there and that's about it as far as I could tell. We spent most of our time training in the field, so I didn't get to see much of the base. All said, it was the most fun I had training since the last two weeks of BCT.
Truth. The Airforce has the Best Chow Halls, hands down! The Baston Memorial, Made for Americans by the Belgium people, is one of the Most Beautiful Memorials you'll ever see. A Huge Five pointed star, all Granite, with all 50 States Engraved around the Star and the Pillars holding up the Star, having the story of the Battle of the Bulge, in English engraved upon them . A Real Tear Jerker!
I had biscuits and gravy at an air force base in Texas. S o good.
I read the book and it was very helpful to combat the post war depression and alcohol related shenanigans.
That's good to know.
Funny side note: in Band of Brothers Episode 2 you can actually see Jake McNasty in the background before they enter the planes =)
Really? That's a nice little easter egg.
@@CinesterCharlie yep when they are preparing for the jump you can quite clearly see a guy in a Mohawk over the shoulder of one of them

The Fat Electrician has become my favorite channel. The first few videos I watched of his I figured had to be hyperbolic or misleading, but I've yet to find anything incorrect. Even his hyperbole is on point.
Yeah, I'm glad people told me about his channel. Seems like a cool dude.
@@CinesterCharlieand so you know. Your react videos of his stuff helps mellow it out for a wider audience. I'd love to share his videos with my mom, but he is crass and cusses a lot. Having a third party mediator is meaningful. I also work with the Amish and we're on the road quite a bit and I've subjected them to the original video; it was a bit much for them. Having your react in there spreads it out and they can relate to you which allows them to enjoy the content. So, thanks 😊
@@richcotton4974 Oh, well thanks lol. I am a pretty mellow guy.
I've heard that the fat electrician is going to school to teach history. If it's true, he'll be the greatest history teacher of all time.
I think it being in Texas has a bit more to do with the quality of biscuits and gravy than it being an air force mess.
That's probably true lol.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Really great Disney movie. If memory serves right, the production crew wore shirts that said "Atlantis - Fewer Songs, More Explosions"
Ah, that's what it was. Thanks.
I can relate desert storm starts. I go into the navy e1 end my enlistment as e2. USS Shennandoah AD 44. As machinery repairman all was good.
Part of my Air Force tech school to become a F-22 Crew Chief was at Shepherd AFB. Pretty nice base but there’s definitely not much in the town. Haha
Yeah, they have a mall and that's about it lol.
@@CinesterCharlie pretty much. I think I went off base once my time there. Just bought a used xbox 360 from the base GameStop and spent my off time playing games haha
If memory serves, they had K Rations, the grandpa of the MRE.
Ok, that makes sense.
Ayy, my dad went to Shepard afb as well, AGE mechanic. Pretty darn cool there
It was really boring when I went. That's pretty cool though.
Talk about biscuits and gravy if you're ever in the midwest stop in omaha at the restaurant Fizzy's and order their biscuits and sausage gravy!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤 The biscuits themselves are almost 2 inches thick!
I looove biscuits and gravy.
Wow, your grandfather was Sioux? Have you ever tried enrollment with the Sioux Nation? I'm Diné and my parents enrolled me with the Navajo Nation. I remember being a teenager & my parents showing me my tribal enrollment certificate for the 1st time. They kept the document until they felt I was old enough to keep it. It felt awesome to be officially enrolled & recognized by the Navajo Nation.
Nah, not really. I don't have much of a connection to it. Plus, my grandfather left the rez for a reason lol.
@@CinesterCharlieyea, I can understand that. Lol
You better by some of his merch. I keep hearing that your going to, but now I want to hold you to it. DO IT!
I just have to pay some bills and stuff. I will next month.
SERE training is the only thing the Navy thought me that was useful.
It would actually be useful if things fall apart.
I was at Sheppard for tech school. It’s considered of the worst bases we have. 😂
Oh word up. In terms of things to do it sucks, but the galley there had the best food.
The military is not going to put ANYONE in a five star hotel while training ir fighting! You Shoukd Join usa military ONLY to Serve Your Country!
My dude.... I just have to say you have a HELL of a voice! Sorry if that's weird lol but like- Narration type voice
No, it's not weird. A lot of people say that lol. I'd love to get into voice acting.
@@CinesterCharlie That would be awesome!
You can either die a hero (E-4) or live long enough to see yourself become the villain (E-5) retired E-4 Mafia with double oak leaf clusters. Early actually. Sham on 😎. I was drunk most of the time at Ft Ord CA. Lightfighter. MPs make the military no fun 🤣
MPs and MAs are kind of dicks.
You got my sub just from the XXL burrito call out
Oh nice. Thanks. That was my only reason for going there other than Baja Blast.
with the M1 he made a vid on how its ACTUALLY called garand like you say but everyone calls it grand lol
Yeah, I just think it's funny to correct people.
@@CinesterCharlie oh no I get it, I do the same. I just find it funny he made a vid on it
Atlantis and pretty much all the early 00s (and the 90s stuff like Prince of Egypt and Fantasia) Disney stuff is so good, widely considered some of the best and most mature stuff they've put out.
Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Sinbad, Tarzan, Mulan, all the live action Disney stuff too...
Yeah, the animation looks so good.
Too bad they hate normal people now for some reason.
I didn't know self-control was considered to be an inhuman quality I thought most adults practice self-control just because Superman is in power pounding poon and punting bad guys into orbit does not mean that he's boring
There's some interesting stuff about Superman, but he did do a lot of pounding poon, so yeah that's kinda cool.
1:44 Aww, don't diss my boi Supes
I think One Punch Man explains the Superman problem pretty well.
@CinesterCharlie I personally wouldn't compare Saitama to Clark. I don't wanna get into a dang college paper about the nuances of the Superman character. So all I'll really say is it really depends on who's writing him at any given time. An example of a good quick comic would be "All-Star Superman." A good movie example would be "Superman vs. The Elite."
I’ve done it for twelve miles.
Superman is boring, but I still love him, RIP Chris. Batman is not an antihero, he doesn’t kill and follows a very strict code of ethics, and is the perfect detective and hand to hand combatant, I also love Batman.
Working at ten because your family would starve if you didnt isnt "work ethic" its desperation.
What? I may be missing context here.
@CinesterCharlie it was the great depression, children didn't get jobs because they wanted them, they got them because it was either that or the family being put in a poor house, or possibly even the parents selling their children to factories. Children in that time weren't allowed to be children.
@@hlessiavedon Sorry, I recorded this a while ago. I agree.
@CinesterCharlie it's all good, man. Just figured I would give you a different perspective to view it from.
@@hlessiavedon Different perspectives are good. It's just been a while since I watched the video lol.
There's 2 dirty dozen movies..
Are they both inaccurate? It's always hard to find accurate war movies.
Not so accurate but a good representation. Lee Marvin stars in both ,enjoy..

The Dirty Dozen is a decent movie, but doesn't live up to the real deal.
I think it might be too outdated for me.
Just why does a squid think he has a dog, to fight with, let alone an opinion on this?
I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

It just seemed so long, but went pretty quick after about 10 minutes.

Superman is a example of shitty writing.
The reason that british food is seen as, well, shit, is because everyone else piles spice on their food. That kills your tastebuds and makes british food (which really isnt bad, I'm british, it's actually really good) not taste as good.
That and we try to make the animals taste as good as possible BEFORE they are slaughtered, meaning we don't need endless amounts of spices and herbs to cook our food.
Not to say I don't like spicy food (I quite like Mexican, although it's probably not 100% authentic mexican), but I think people fetishise spice to a ridiculous degree to where spicyness is valued over flavourful spice.
Also americans talking shit about anyone else's food is hilarious. I think wonder bread was exported to Ireland in the last few years and was deemed a cake to the ludicrous amount of sugar in it.
Last little thing as well, as long as your baked beans aren't ridiculously sugary, beans on toast really isn't that bad. It's a cheap, relatively nutritious meal, especially if you add sausages, bacon and some cheese into the saucepan that you are cooking the beans in.
Spices are acidic, which also trip the "hot" taste receptors. Acid... damages tastebuds.
Yes it is that exact Castle is the exact Town that's where he was😂
