    Love this style of deck (I remember us giving the Abzan version a go with Tyvar). One thing though is if you have slogurk I think it's important to utilize your channel lands (like boseiju to get rid of the enchantments and artifacts). Could have probably put that first game away sooner.

    return the boseju with slogark kill the virtue no?

    the overslime deserves respect! SLOW-GURK 😂
    Tortoise and Wrenn really give Slogurk that extra oomph it needed. Never got the Willow Geist to grow for me lol

    why at 12:00 it didn't give you priority to remove counters and pick up the Slogurk? you did not pass priority to the end of the turn

    Dont forget Wrenn's animate land ability gives the Land hexproof AND VIGILANCE. Couldve knocked down a few life ppints.

    During the first game you could have brought Boseiju back to hand with Solgurk and channeled it to kill the artifact token, the creature land, and/or the Virtue. Rad deck regardless!

    Hands down best decks featured on youtube. I'd like to see some Golgari nonsense maybe Ashiok tokens combined with Faunsbane Troll aura exile effect/ mosswood dreadknight?

    You could make their 7/7 a 3/3 when you activate your land

    • @liruenth
      @liruenth ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also the sheoldred a 3/3 to attack with everything in the game after.

      Wouldn't work, the 7/7 would become a 10/10. Remember you only change its base power which in the case of incubator tokens is 0/0.

    I know control is a viable deck type, but I just call them nope decks. The person playing a control deck like the one you faced just wants to stop you from enjoying your deck, and any fun you might have playing your deck's plan. Removal and sweepers tribal is boring

      I don’t know why they think it’s fun to play like that

      @@dallinhilton3189 when everyone is playing the same Domain or Esper list it is a lot of fun to not let them play sometimes.

    • @dbgarf

      disagree. this game is at it's most fun when the metagame is diverse and there are lots of different types of decks. control archetype has an important role in this, which is it keeps decks "honest", making sure that aggro decks need to be able to win in longer games, or combo or ramp decks need to play around disruption that can shut down their big plays. without control in the metagame there's a huge risk for it to degenerate to only being dominated by the fastest and most focused aggro or combo decks and everything not built around winning on turn 4 (or earlier) is non-viable.
      you might not enjoy control, but the fact that it exists makes the metagame more enjoyable all around.

    • @La_Lente_Oscura
      @La_Lente_Oscura ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dbgarf well you're half right.
      It is the Aggro decks that are favored vs control and keep control in check. Control keeps Mid-range decks in check, and Mid-Range keeps Aggro in check.
