This happens because-
when the bottle cap is closed,air can not escape from anywhere. so,water can not flow through pipe as if water would flow there would be vaccum
but when cap is opened air can go inside bottle and water comes out

It’s simple and efficient. The water system should be kept somewhere cold like a refrigerator. No one will drink warm water. I’m going to make one for myself. What a nice way to recycle plastic bottles and cardboard.😀

The T like structure pipe allowes the air
Then may u ask why T pipe is used because if we open the cap of tank the dust comes so that
The same physics applied here
