All electric, yes it tells you how fast you're going. I try to go the speed limit of traffic to stay safe. If I'm on an open road and no one is around I'll gun it. You don't need anything just buy one. Scooter shops are all over NYC and multiple stated in the USA.
Do you Commute on this? I mean hell I wouldn't seem why NY is small. Honestly was going to say do you own a car, but if you don't have kids, this is the only thing I would drive. Although it is a price of a used car. Nice Scooter!
