Excellent information. I'm working to install telemetry sensors on a Futaba 14SG and this was very helpful.

Great video! Do you know if - when you want to add a new type of telemetry device - then does the transmitter have to support this specific telemetry sensor type in the transmitter software ? So for example if I have a Castle Creations telemetry interface for Futaba and the newest 16IZ Super transmitter (not 16IZ) then does the transmitter software have to support this specific sensor ? Same for any other 3rd party telemetry sensor - does the tranmitter need to "know" this sensor type or does it read it's details from the sensor during registration ? Not sure if my question is clear...

Nice video. Does anyone know if these sensors can handle 8.4V ? I have a Futaba 4PM, R324SBS and I'm wanting to use my 8.4V capable steering servo at 8.4V. I have 3 Futaba Sensors but don't know if it'll fry them. Futaba is possibly the worst ever with answering questions. Thanks.

Is the sensor registered for a particular receiver or to all receivers of the same kind? Thanks

Greetings from SoCal. I’ve been flying RTF helicopters from OMP M1 and M2. I finally got myself a Futaba T16IZ. Any chance of you setting up a Futaba with a Helicopter kit such as SAB or an Align?

Hi, at the moment, the setup is for glider. We take note of this request and could set it as a roadmap for later videos. Thank you for your comments.

    Hi!
For Futaba S.Bus / S.Bus2 receivers. Do I need an S.Bus hub if I am only using a single Telemetry Sensor (ei. 1x Altitude sensor)?
Can I plug the sensor directly to an S.Bus / S.Bus2 port?

Yes sensor can plug directly into Sbus2 if using only one sensor! If more than one then need a y cable.or hub.

  • @mithrandir1313

I think you can plug all the sensors into the hub, plug the hub into the "Y" (for the battery) and register all the sensors at the same time...
