Hello Everyone! Here is my Cura settings video for creality ender 3 version 2. I showed how to set up the printer in Cura itself and how to use slicing settings for the best quality prints. Of course, there is always a trade-off between time it takes to print vs high resolution. I suggested my personal parameter ranges so that you can use them as well. Let me know what you think in the comments down below. I hope this video helps you guys.
Here is the link for downloading the latest version of Cura software: ultimaker.com/...

    • @3DPDoctor

It is mainly to know the projection of the extruder on top of the bed. In the case that you print multiple objects not at the same time, cura will prevent hitting the already printed object with those settings. So probably you may not need it at all.

I'm impatient, so I use a craft store Hot Glue Gun.
It's always dependent on what you're printing:
      - In Cura slice set it with a "brim".
      - Start the print.
      - Let it loop around 3-4 times and "Pause" the print.
      - Using the hot glue gun dot anchor a few strands like you are pinning down a map on a cork board,
      - Resume the print.
      - When it rises up a few millimeters, or if you notice it starting to separate from the plate, use longer runs of silicone tracing around the brim connecting a layer of silicon to the glass plate, which will greatly help anchor the feather light model down.
      - DONE. Total prep time depends on set "print speed". My print speed is 200. So, at 200 anchoring time takes around 12-15 mins, then I can go do something more productive.
      SO, WHAT'S GOING ON:
The heated plate ISN'T hot enough to keep the silicone in a liquid state, thus anchors the model down, long enough over the hours for the model's natural gravitational built up weight to anchor it down by itself overtime.
This method means no more babysitting. No more coming back to a plate full of plastic spaghetti. Clean your plate less often. Visit friends and sleep in peace.
My use is mainly for test modeling, and rarely for a polished finish, so this might not be for everyone, so use a piece of paper and level the bed.
Optional Note: because I don't like waiting for warmup.
While paused it will go into hibernation mode and start to cool off. Stop this cool-down by quickly going to "Tune" settings while paused, and keep the hot tip and bed temp at their respective temps (Mine is set to 200/60).

Thanks, very clear guide. I followed it but I noticed some of my settings in the print settings are different.
For example in Build Plate Adhesion I've only 1 option of choosing "Build Plate Adhesion Type". I'm using version 4.7.1

It might be hidden. Check the options by clicking gear symbol and unhide other options

Got mine two weeks ago, leveled it, over 20 prints and no releveling. You gave up too quickly,

It is a game of patience. A printer needs babysitting for a bit until you learn the tricks :)

How do you fix the 3d models quality tho? Mines always comes out pixelated

Out of which software? If you use autodesk inventor professional, while exporting your stl model, there is quality section. That increase the number of mesh points. At what stage you are getting pixelated models?
