The concept story of Lie is made by Jimin, who even contributed in writing the lyrics. RM wrote the lyrics.
Jimin wanted to express his wanting to free himself from the earlier BTS' hardcore hiphop era and wants to assert his wanting to express what he wants as an artist. In expressing this, led BTS to broaden their artistic theme by doing many genre. To keep Jimin, BigHit released Blood, Sweat and Tears, Fake Love, House of Cards, Pied Piper, and Blackswan. As RM said, RM said it was Jimin's flavor in the grouo that got them internationally famous .
And, the first time they got noticed was when Jimin tore of his shirt off at MAMA 2014 (Block B Vs BTS). The story behindf that their trainors wanted Jimin to look tough on stage to become beliwvable for his face is too cute to be doing Hiphop and teased that he will bever look hiphop unless he tears off his shirt on stage. Indeed, Jimin, out of the blue, tore off his shirt which was not part of the choreography. That Act attracted the international viewers and got the an instant fame.
What Jimin cannot get away of is his adorable, ageless and cute face. His make up artists would usually try their best to work on his hair to make him look mature and tough. See in WHO, his hair was done to make him look like the young bad a** Brad Pitt and his leather jacket to make him look like a bad a** rock star. #LovelyJimin

Although i agree with a lot of things , i do not agree with the fact that this era was where jimin shined through because among the members accepted by RM himself,jimin bought in the most crowd either by his tricks , his acrobatic skills , his performance or because of his dancing.
This era was important for jimin because he himself wrote and produced lie. That was his first solo introduction, secondly, Jimin wrote the melody for blood ,sweat and tears and he blew up particularly because the song itself blew up overseas and people started noticing the enticing guy in the middle .
Jimin always had been the stan attractor in BTS , he was already considered the best dancer and had a lot of male fans as compared to the other members alongside RM so no, this song bought in more fans and jimin here is iconic but this song didn't blew jimin to the front,he always has been in the front

BOYNEXTDOOR is a 6 member boy group under KOZ Entertainment. They are a group made my ZICO and debuted on May 30th, 2023. Members of BOYNEXTDOOR have participated in almost every one of their songs. Though they have only debuted about 1 year and 4 months, they have placed 40th on the Billboard 200 with their newest album *19.99*
The first member I am going to be introducing is Jaehyun. Jaehyun is the leader of BOYNEXTDOOR. There are no other official positions in BOYNEXTDOOR other than the leader. Jaehyun was born in 2003 and is one of the oldest members. He is one of the members who participate in making their music and is a great rapper, dancer, and singer. An overall all-rounder. Jaehyun is also known for having similar visuals with BTS Jungkook or Lee Seungki. He was also a YG trainee before he joined KOZ Entertainment.
The next member I am introducing is Sungho. Sungho is the oldest member in the group and was born in 2003. He is known for his amazing singing but has also shown his fantastic rapping skills in one of BOYNEXTDOOR’s videos.
The next member I am introducing is Riwoo. (Ree-oo) Riwoo is a wonderful dancer and has shown his amazing skills in singing too. He is the second oldest in the group as Riwoo was born in 2003.
The next member I am going to introduce is Taesan. Taesan is a great rapper, singer, and dancer. Born in 2004, he is known for having similar visuals with Stray Kids Lee Know and Enhypen’s Sunghoon. He is the tallest in BOYNEXTDOOR with a height of 183cm and is one of the members in BOYNEXTDOOR who participate in making music.
The next member I am introducing is Leehan. (Ee-Han) Leehan was born in 2004 and is also a great singer and dancer. Leehan loves the sea as he was born and raised in Busan.
Last but, but not least is BOYNEXTDOOR’s maknae Woonhak. (Oon-Hak) He was born in 2006 and is one of the members who participate in making BOYNEXTDOOR’s music. He is often the target of BOYNEXTDOOR’s jokes. Woonhak is a great singer, dancer, and rapper.

I don't believe he is saying that the earlier music was just to make money. We now know that Bang PD did not want Jimin in BTS. He was convinced by staff & probably Suga. He was required to work out because he was the one who had to show his abs and always wear sleeveless tops. He was usually ranked the least attractive of the guys. In the first few years, his weight fluctuated and would go on extreme diets. He was to be a ultra masculine guy.
Huuuuuuuh. Ranked least attractive.......? Some of this is true but a lot is not. Jimin was always ranked very high popular in a lot of polls.
Least attractive was always RM or Jhope. They got a lot of hate due to their looks. Please stop spreading false info.
Jimin had the abs and made to show it off because he was considered the most attractive with Jin. That's why he had to keep up with staying in shape and keeping those abs because they sexualized him and used it to bring in more fans.

@CowsRdumb nope, I have seen many videos of the 1st few years where a member was asked to rank the rest by attractiveness. Jimin was ranked last by the others. I do not think it was a joke. In those early years, before Run episodes, there was an edge to the competitions. The penalties required the guys to hit the lower, put Wasabi paste on the lover's face, which burns and other needlessly painful penalties.
In one video, it may have been in the Fall of 2013, they talked about Jimin's abs. Originally, he did not want to do it . He asked RM to talk to their management on his behalf, but they insisted. After awhile, when the fans liked it, he was OK with it but it meant he had to work on his body. He has been on I terriers where he said he went for a few days at a time without good to get those cut muscles and itherbtimes ate one chicken brest a day. You can see him at various weights I. Performance and behind the scenes videos. In the early years, he routinely wore sleevless tops. Jimin is known for being a hard worker. Doing a dance sequence or vocal performance over and over. Jk, Suga, and RM have said this multiple times. Lastly, they were all given " personas" pre debut. I recall Suga saying that he could not relate to Jin in those early days. Kin said they told him to take on the role of an aristocratic young man but he after awhile he dropped it. Jimin was brash, interrupting others which he too dropped. JK was nit allowed to do the body building g exercises because the managers wanted him to remain boyish. He said he was finally allowed to do it around his 18th birthday.
These guys all grew into their authentic selves. I have watched far too many videos, interviews, behind the scenes and read arti kes about BTS. I have drawn my conclusions from these materials. I think I am pretty much on the mark. But you do you. I think it was a bit over the top to say disregard my comments.

Jin and Jimin were always considered the attractive members in their rookie years. Jimin was popular since debut.
RM and Jhope were considered the least attractive members and they still are til this day. It shows in the amount of views they get compared to the other members.
Like they wanted to Jhope and RM kicked out of the group just because they thought they were ugly. Trending on twitter.

Jimin had a great body before he joined Big hit. That's why they capitalized off it.
It just got to Jimin because he felt he had to always be in shape. Jimin has never had a bad body. Always been in shape.
All this extra you are saying is pointless because the whole argument is about Jimin being seen as the least attractive member and that was never true in the history of BTS.
Jin, jimin and V has always been praised for their looks since the beginning.

I said I did not want to argue but the tone of your post is disturbing. This all started with the question what was the Lie in the song Lie. Jimin did address that. He said and I paraphrase..it was about being caught up in negative thoughts about himself and how he had to break from them. My comments were to explain where those thoughts originate. I think it is indisputable that Jimin is very hard o himself and the others always say he is a very hard worker...hard on himself.
He frequently comments about the need to lose weight but has abandoned the crazy starvation diets. He has reassured ARMY in many of his VLives that he diets healthily now. He obviously has great core strength and flexibility.
I am NOT a lier. Like you, I have consumed lots of BTS information. We have come to different conclusions about what we saw, heard , and read. But we both enjoy and are fans. That is what is important.
