This game makes me realize that the gaming medium needs more of this. Things that seem truly fantastic. You can make so much with the medium and decide to make what? Cod 28 and nfs 15? I want trips into worlds I didn't even imagine before.
Too bad the characters have the most generic and indistinct designs possible. At a glance (or even when trying to focus on them when they move) you can barely tell them apart, except for the generic dude. To top it off them basically having very similar clothes and the same color palettes (not even distincts flairs here and there). It's like they want them to have ZERO personality. It's as if they were designed to be as bland as possible and not being able to tell them apart.
My stupid brain thought you said “Robert Pearson with a beard” and it took me a couple minutes to process: wait, he’s already got a beard, did they mean hair, I should go and double check, wait, that doesn’t look like Robert S. Pearson, looks a bit like… oh. Time for a nap for me.
@@threestars2164 i think he means that in the last years there's a new wave of really great RPGs like the old golden age of RPG. Last year a CRPG won even the GOTY and this year probably a JRPG it's gonna win it.
have anyone ever stopped to consider that maybe the reason Ubisoft is having trouble is cause of us Fans, the reason they are doing bad is cause we are being the problem, demanding things, criticizing things like Yasuke and Naoe in the upcoming AC Shadow, we do the same with Square Enix and others calling them Toxic for doing things with their games that technically they can do whatever they want with. we should have no say in how it should be made how it goes or anything, our thing is suppose to appreciate the hard work, to love the characters and worlds these Game Companies make yet seems to me ever since at least 2013 the whole Gaming Fandom has become Toxic. Just know this is from a Honest Respectful person who has been a Gamer since six years of age, none of this is meant to be disrespectful nor meant to be offensive, it is my honest opinion and views

Or the numerous accusation of psychological and physical abuse and sexual harassment within the teams, egomaniac team leaders etc... The news of the past 10 years paint a picture of a massive sh!tshow, it's no wonder they can't get back on track. Nobody wants to dictate how they make games, but I think we can all agree on that making games as gigantic as possible, but keep them empty on content and slow-level-grindy on purpose to force people into buying lootboxes also isn't the way to treat customers. They made their games exactly how they wanted to make them and are facing the consequences of people not liking it. That they are trampling on Japanese history in the newest Assassin's Creed is just the small tip of the entire sh!tshow iceberg.
Finally a game I’m actually genuinely excited for. So many games look pretty but end up being not what they seemed. It’s easy to see this is going to be incredible.

The return of turn based rpg reign. You love to see it. Nothing against FF7 remake and 16, but there's something special in this type of game that action rpgs can't capture.
I guess it's about enjoying animations. As action game you are always focussed on your character running and dodging. And you have to manage the camera on your own. So enjoying cinematic attacks is not really that much part of the flow. On turnbased games the camera is always in the perfect position. And you don't have to worry ablout your movements that much, even if there is a dodging mechanic like here.

Investors want guarantees on their investments. A title like that on a big budget is a big risk as it's not guaranteed to sell.
