Good recommendations, although one thing I would like to point out is only use Serika's EX every 25-30 seconds or so to avoid diminishing returns. Her buff lasts for 30 seconds, so if you use it before it expires, the number of times the animation play could definitely cost you extra damage output from her.

Edit: i passed this with 1 min remaining tip is to position tsubaki like in the video and spam for serika ex skill so she wouldn’t kill the follower to avoid it spawning more
This strat is a godsend. Actually managed to keep everyone alive but my Serika on T1 equipment really couldn't cut boss HP fast enough. Guess I know what to grind now!
Imagine you're just enjoying reading the story and then suddenly a big wall blocking your way through. Like what the hell were they thinking, putting this stupid boss fight in the middle of climax of the story + without even telling us a warning of what level we need to be in order to fight this boss. This really just kills the vibe man. Thankfully I have all the students you were putting in the vid. Trying to switch Serika with Aru but no luck, she keeps hitting the minions with her normal attack idk why or I just don't understand the game mechanics. Anyway, switched Aru to Serika again and trying to beat the boss for 2 hours straight and finally win with literally 1 second left. Oh, and I was level 39 btw. Sorry for the long rant, I was just so frustrated with how bad this stage's design is, so fucking stupid
Nice job beating the boss! Yea, I kind of agree that this was thrown in at the climax of the story out of nowhere. I kinda wish they would let you recruit students from your friend list for this fight as well, just so those who want to beat it proper have a choice, and those who want to skip it can. Thats what they did for another fight in the late game, and I kinda wish they fix this fight too.
Especially since you're not hinted at using your own units at any point in the story before this, so for players that have exclusively been playing the story(cause it's awesome most of the time)... they're forced to go grind missions for a few days/weeks. Very poorly implemented ajd I wish the game would straight up tell you about this when you get to this chapter
i think if you have a d.hina (normal hina for substitute if you don't have her), koyuki, aris and ayane, I think you can do this with only those 4 that way you have one more extra striker you can add like 1 tank (tsubaki, or yuuka) or a movable character (like t.yuuka or kotori). maybe for extra special, I suggest says if you want dealer, but if your units are weak and want a healer, I suggest serina. it depends on your choice if you want to move it. @@Anna-n2w Do you know how to use AP in missions or events? Grind for those using "Sweep". If you're level 1 you'll basically be Lv.35 or Lv.36 in just one day. Keep in mind the higher the level, the more EXP you have to get, so you need to have patience.
Chise is incredible for this fight, her normal attacks aoe the ghosts and her ex is a mystical fire puddle which melts both the boss and ghosts... only issue is it costs 4 energy in a fight where your hp can drain rather rapidly if theres snipers on the field
Good to know. I didn't use Chise since it deviated from Yonas CY's original plan of utilizing mostly auto-attacks. Also Chise is mystic attack so I didn't think that she would be good against Hieronymus light armor
There are no coincidences, my friends. So, I finally reached this cursed episode today. Tried every guide from almost every channel, and guess what? None of them worked. This one almost did, but nope, just almost, time up first. Ended up burning through all my pyroxene about 10,800. I was hoping for Noa or Iroha, and on my last pull. Noa: Yo mf. (Came in the final pull, this ain' coincidence fr) Swapped with Asuna, and Yuuka to Akari, and from there, everything went cha-cha smooth. Your guide is work... but I had to spent all of my pyroxene lol :sob:
@True_Dusk Sorry to hear. I don't really recommend burning your pyroxenes unless you have a banner you really want. Aside from that just naturally play the game and f2p grind is most cost effective.
@DaZuryx I don't know. Hanae is one of, if not is the best single target healer in the game when it come to the amount of hp heal. The best replacement I can think of is kokona, who have low sp cost and is also quite a potent single target healer, with the benefit of mass decrease of sp cost for other units once in a while, which is very good for rotation.
There are numerous reasons as to why this could be the case. Here are just a few I could think of: - Your skill and equipable items are at a lower level than mine, causing you to lose potential damage and/or take too much damage. - You are lower level than me (mine was level 35), meaning that you won't have the third equipment slot open, losing potential crit damage. - You just have bad luck with crit RNG, and your units either taking too much damage, or you are not doing as much damage because of that. - Maybe the new update make the boss harder than it was.
@@YamichanpcI'd also add (from experience beating this on level 37) that a T4 bag for Tsubaki from expert permits would result in a much comfier (but still butt-clenching) low-level clear.
I FINALLY BEAT IT! is it so hard to say you need to keep 1 sniper and 2 normal nuns alive to prevent them from respawning? I only figured it out after watching this video. I couldn't find this information anywhere.
Nice! I don't know the specifics of where you can find these informations, however to my knowledge the first person to use this strat is Yonas CY, and there is also a reddit post that talk about this strat in more details. Both of them are credited in my description if you want to check them out.
Leveling in this game goes by using up your energy at the rate of 1 energy per exp. There are sure to be good guides out the, but for me, I maximize level up by: 1/ Using up all my energy before they are max. The rate of energy regen is 1 per six minutes 2/ Using the energy accumulated in the cafe. Leveling up the cafe to increase the amount of energy you receive per day. Getting cafe leveling material by beating missions. 3/ Spending 90 pyrogem every day just to get an additional 360 exp in from it. If you want to, you can spend more pyrogem, but it increases by 30 pyrogem use every 3 recharge 4/ Spend tactical challenge currency to buy an additional 90 energy every day 5/ Completing daily tasks grant you an additional 150 energy per day. Every 5 days, the game will give you 200 extra energy on top of that. And every nine times you hold lessons, another 150 energy will be given. Without doing any proper math, that should be around 1000+ exp you get every day. Sometimes, events might allow you to get more, but these are consistent ways to get your exp up.
I would say yes for Serika since her sub skill increases her attack speed by quite a bit. If you have her at much higher level, or attack equipment at higher tier, maybe? And I don't think Tsubaki need to be 3 stars since I have her at 2 stars in the video
@ProtogenDanur you should be able to, so long as your skill levels and damage boost item have high enough tiers. This stage will be Shiroko's worst terrain, so her damage will not be amazing, but if you have buffs students (Ako, Himari, etc.) and good skill rotation team, you should be able to burn the boss with her EX skill.

@ProtogenDanur Nonomi will not be good for the boss, as she is piercing type attack, the stage is her worst terrain, as well as aoe EX skill with decent cost. That being said she can be really good for general play, and she can still be usable for some assault stages (assuming you are not doing them competitively)

@@JohnSmith113w To my knowledge, monsters stop appearing if you do not kill the ones spawns on the right side after the second spawn-in. This strategy forces all your units to attack the boss instead of the enemies spawn on the right side, preventing more to spawn in.

Your opinion seems to be the same as most people about this fight, and honestly, it is the same as mine too. And just to be transparent, the strat originally is by Yonas CY, I just optimized it a bit.
I don't think so? The lost of attack speed from sub-skill for both of them would affect their dps significantly over the course of the fight, I would think. However if you have higher tier equipments or higher EX skill level then maybe? I am not quite sure.
Just a tip if you want star them up, buy their elephs from shop, they don't cost much since your units are only 2 stars, so each eleph cost 1 cube (don't remember what they are called) since this is most likely your first time buying them.
Tried several times, but no luck. Even when all of them are with T2 equipment, they die really fast. Like, the girl with shield is simply annihilated in tens of seconds. And that with 42 level account
Reset 1: Yuuka reposition instead of tsubaki, letting tsubaki continue to damage one of the spawn on the right. Any mobs died on the right side that is not from the initial spawn is an instant reset, since killing them will spawn more enemies, increase damage on tsubaki and losing potential damage on the boss Reset 2: For basically the same reason as the previous one, they were killing one of the mob on the right side that is not from the initial spawn Reset 3: There is no third reset, because I win, but if there was a reset it would be because I let serika died at the end, losing a lot of potential damage
You mean why did I reset it multiple times? Because I knew that with my damage output at the times those were going to be fail attempts, so I saw no points in continuing it if I knew that attempt was not gonna go anywhere.
Serika has high dps, with her EX being quite low SP. I think a good substitute will need to be someone with high damage and also low SP cost, ideally explosive damage as well. Hina is a good option if she had been invested in quite a bit, otherwise I would say she is too expensive. Another option would be to try and get a lot of burst damage dealers onto your team. The strategy used in this video is using brain-off dps to deal damage. However, if you have several single target burst EX, that can be effective against the boss.
@@Yamichanpc I am at level 38, so do my students in the video. But my Tsubaki gears are at Tier 2, idk if it is ok. About the student to use instead of Serika, I dont have Hina, I got Aru at everyone first roll.
@@Yamichanpc My maid Asuna is 1 star, cuz I dont invest much for her, Yuuka 2 stars, the other red bullet students I got are Akari, Aru, Haruka, Kayoko, blue bullet students are Chise, Kaho (which have same lvl as me). Also I got Tsurugi (swimsuit), Izumi (swimsuit) and Suzumi (all these have 1 star) which I dont invest in them.
After doing a quick check, here are some things I noted for the students you got, assuming these are all available ones: I don't think Aru would be viable because the terrain lower her damage, as well as her EX skill damaging the mobs spawn on the right side, which is something the strategy in this video avoid doing at all cost. Akari might be okay, but her EX skill doubles the cost of Serika, and also do AoE, which requires you to pay more attention when you use it, as we do not want to kill any spawns from the right after the initial spawn. The fact that Akari EX is AoE also means that it will probably not be as good in term of single target damage compared to other burst single target EX. I don't think Haruka is a good damage option since she is a tanker, and we already have 2 tankers in the fight, unless you want to switch her with one of the two. For Kayoko, I don't think she would work either. Her EX skill have SP cost of 6, and the AoE is large enough to damage the mobs on the right once again. Chise is okay, although she does not have explosive damage, and her EX cost is 4. Her damage in my opinion, is okay at best, so she is not an ideal option, but can be use. Kaho flaw is that she have terrain disadvantage and her EX cost is 5, as well as not explosive damage. Terrain disadvantage is definitely her biggest problem I would say. S. Tsurugi does sound good since she does good damage, however her basic skill damage 1 random enemy (to my knowledge), and being at 1 star means she does not have bonus attack speed, which does hurt her damage output quite a bit. Suzumi is more of a support unit, stunning enemies units(at higher EX skill level), however this doesn't really helps since we want to focus on damaging the boss, not stunning any of the enemies neccessarily. She is also not a dealer, meaning that she will not do as much damage. I would actually want to know what backline students you have as well, as some of them are very powerful and may be able to do more damage than your frontline. For example, if you want to somewhat follow the strategy in this video with a different comp, you can change hanae to someone like Minori, who is a very strong Explosive student with EX skill SP of 4, go up to 7, with progressively higher damage output per additional SP used. Her down side is that she do AoE and her basic skill is also AoE at a random target. Using her would also means that keeping the enemies on the right will not be as high of a priority anymore, and that you will want to burst it down as fast as possible while Tsubaki is still alive. You will also need to change one of your frontliner to a healer to heal Tsubaki. Other good backline damage dealers alternatives would be Mashiro, which come with her own problems. S. Shiroko, which combo extremely well with Shun, as well as single target debuff the boss defense as boost your team's crit at the start of the fight. Azusa is almost perfect with the exception of her basic skill attack 1 random enemy. You can also buy upgrades from shop, such as using Eligma, Expert Permits, etc. These should buff your preexisting students further if you are willing to spend your resources. These are just some of the things I thought of rn, so I am sure there are more ways for you to change your team to make it work.

If you kill the mobs on the right, it will spawn more. This strat basically forces everyone to be on the left and just shoot the boss, while Tsubaki tank all the spawns on the right. As long as the right side wave doesn't get killed, the enemy will spawn in only once and thats it
Damn I fight this thing it took me a week long to make it to lvl 39 from 15 and in the end after so many tried I still died lol even in the battle I won against it all 4 of my team died, I dunno who died first me or the boss or both at same time since i could see my Tsubski dead animation thanks to hibiki i could kill boss she dealt 130k while saori dealt 134k
Damn. Yea, having 2 healers was critical for me to keep Tsubaki alive. Losing any other students is also a killer since it decreases your cost recovery.
@Anonymous-fm5wm yea, Saint Barbara in volume 3 chapter 4, as well as several fights in volume F. Based on my experience, those fights are not hard if you are strong enough to beat Hieronymus here. The only exception will be Kuroko (spoiler, i.e., Shiroko Terror), but for her fight you can recruit units from your friend list, so you can have a level 87 in your team if any of your friend have one. For Saint Barbara, you need a decent team of Mystic attackers. The fights in Volume F, you will want students from severals schools, the fight will give buffs to students from a specific school.
Quite a number of people actually, I was far from the first person. But yea this fight does feel pretty strange, as it was such an abrupt wall in the story for lower level players
@pxych2040 In the strat I used here that I stole from YonasCY, I don't think 2 tanks are truly needed. I you are using Dress Hina, I think you should be able to use just 1 tank, have potent healer 1 healer (like Kokona) to heal the tank off. Your back line should massively buff dress hina Crit damage, and then just go to town against the boss after buffing her at the beginning of the battle. At least that is how I have seen it at a lower level with dress hina

They did it without using a healer (although I suspect their units are actually have high level skill). They used shun to give high initial cost boost, then insta buff D. Hina at 10 cost using Ako and Himari.
Ok update: From what I could tell all their students are at 3 stars, except Hina who have 5. It is unknown if D. Hina have UE40 or UE50. Both their Ako and Himari's EX is only at level one, so my assumption regarding that is wrong. Shun's initial cost buff does seem to be at max level tho. Edit: Hina have UE50 due to her terrain advantage at max. Her EX level I think is at 4.
@@Yamichanpc Yeah.. I read more in the comment and, the " _key " to win is by leaving 3 *Ghost Nun* by having *Tsubaki* not too close to the boss, and having other students on left field. Took me like 2 hours before i read the key to win. 😬
I quit the game because of this. Well not only because of this level but because the rewards and rates are too bad. Didn't get that swimsuit girl everyone say is OP too. If a freaking gacha games becomes suddenly hard but not just hard naturally but with no explanation and suddenly and you have to use guides to understand wth is going on - it's quitting time. Damn, at least leave this stuff for engame or a special mode or something.
Lifesaver For those having trouble, the intial part is crucial The goal is to get tsubaki near the middle, then move asuna up so she shoots the left side The next part is the key step, when the boss spawns the next wave, you want to move tsubaki up even more, such that she starts shooting the boss instead, with at least 3 minions leftover If you accidentally kill one, the minions will start spawning even if there are 3 on field, only the first spawn seems to work for the cheese After that its simply a matter of keeping everyone alive while asuna and serika spam EX I did this at Lv 38 with T2/T3 equipment, 1-2star units, was a few seconds short on Lv37 and took several retries to get tsubaki positioned right
Somewhat spoiler for later: It is strange that the game throws a random road block at you, but don't worry, there is no major road block until late volume F, and that one you can use request level 87 from your friend list, which completely trivialize the fight. Any other seemingly roadblocks can be fought over and over again until you win since the boss' HP remains permanently damaged after your previous fight with it.

@fwa8590 Yuuka is actually extremely useful in both early game and late game. I am still actively using her now at max level for various event challenge stages and tactical challenge.

I kinda wish they would let you recruit students from your friend list for this fight as well, just so those who want to beat it proper have a choice, and those who want to skip it can. Thats what they did for another fight in the late game, and I kinda wish they fix this fight too.
Especially since you're not hinted at using your own units at any point in the story before this, so for players that have exclusively been playing the story(cause it's awesome most of the time)... they're forced to go grind missions for a few days/weeks. Very poorly implemented ajd I wish the game would straight up tell you about this when you get to this chapter

i think if you have a d.hina (normal hina for substitute if you don't have her), koyuki, aris and ayane, I think you can do this with only those 4 that way you have one more extra striker you can add like 1 tank (tsubaki, or yuuka) or a movable character (like t.yuuka or kotori). maybe for extra special, I suggest says if you want dealer, but if your units are weak and want a healer, I suggest serina.

@@Anna-n2w Do you know how to use AP in missions or events? Grind for those using "Sweep". If you're level 1 you'll basically be Lv.35 or Lv.36 in just one day. Keep in mind the higher the level, the more EXP you have to get, so you need to have patience.

Chise is incredible for this fight, her normal attacks aoe the ghosts and her ex is a mystical fire puddle which melts both the boss and ghosts... only issue is it costs 4 energy in a fight where your hp can drain rather rapidly if theres snipers on the field
Good to know. I didn't use Chise since it deviated from Yonas CY's original plan of utilizing mostly auto-attacks. Also Chise is mystic attack so I didn't think that she would be good against Hieronymus light armor

So, I finally reached this cursed episode today. Tried every guide from almost every channel, and guess what? None of them worked. This one almost did, but nope, just almost, time up first. Ended up burning through all my pyroxene about 10,800. I was hoping for Noa or Iroha, and on my last pull.

@True_Dusk Sorry to hear. I don't really recommend burning your pyroxenes unless you have a banner you really want. Aside from that just naturally play the game and f2p grind is most cost effective.
I'm stuck and unable to beat... I have leveled all my units same as yours but still not able to finish boss... Does bond level affect stats as well ?

@DaZuryx I don't know. Hanae is one of, if not is the best single target healer in the game when it come to the amount of hp heal. The best replacement I can think of is kokona, who have low sp cost and is also quite a potent single target healer, with the benefit of mass decrease of sp cost for other units once in a while, which is very good for rotation.

There are numerous reasons as to why this could be the case. Here are just a few I could think of:
- Your skill and equipable items are at a lower level than mine, causing you to lose potential damage and/or take too much damage.
- You are lower level than me (mine was level 35), meaning that you won't have the third equipment slot open, losing potential crit damage.
- You just have bad luck with crit RNG, and your units either taking too much damage, or you are not doing as much damage because of that.
- Maybe the new update make the boss harder than it was.
@@YamichanpcI'd also add (from experience beating this on level 37) that a T4 bag for Tsubaki from expert permits would result in a much comfier (but still butt-clenching) low-level clear.

I FINALLY BEAT IT! is it so hard to say you need to keep 1 sniper and 2 normal nuns alive to prevent them from respawning? I only figured it out after watching this video. I couldn't find this information anywhere.
Nice! I don't know the specifics of where you can find these informations, however to my knowledge the first person to use this strat is Yonas CY, and there is also a reddit post that talk about this strat in more details. Both of them are credited in my description if you want to check them out.

Do you know how to lvl up faster?
Leveling in this game goes by using up your energy at the rate of 1 energy per exp. There are sure to be good guides out the, but for me, I maximize level up by:
1/ Using up all my energy before they are max. The rate of energy regen is 1 per six minutes
2/ Using the energy accumulated in the cafe. Leveling up the cafe to increase the amount of energy you receive per day. Getting cafe leveling material by beating missions.
3/ Spending 90 pyrogem every day just to get an additional 360 exp in from it. If you want to, you can spend more pyrogem, but it increases by 30 pyrogem use every 3 recharge
4/ Spend tactical challenge currency to buy an additional 90 energy every day
5/ Completing daily tasks grant you an additional 150 energy per day. Every 5 days, the game will give you 200 extra energy on top of that. And every nine times you hold lessons, another 150 energy will be given.
Without doing any proper math, that should be around 1000+ exp you get every day. Sometimes, events might allow you to get more, but these are consistent ways to get your exp up.
Just realize you can get an additional 10 energy from club as well every day

I would say yes for Serika since her sub skill increases her attack speed by quite a bit. If you have her at much higher level, or attack equipment at higher tier, maybe?
And I don't think Tsubaki need to be 3 stars since I have her at 2 stars in the video

@ProtogenDanur you should be able to, so long as your skill levels and damage boost item have high enough tiers. This stage will be Shiroko's worst terrain, so her damage will not be amazing, but if you have buffs students (Ako, Himari, etc.) and good skill rotation team, you should be able to burn the boss with her EX skill.

@ProtogenDanur Nonomi will not be good for the boss, as she is piercing type attack, the stage is her worst terrain, as well as aoe EX skill with decent cost. That being said she can be really good for general play, and she can still be usable for some assault stages (assuming you are not doing them competitively)

@@JohnSmith113w To my knowledge, monsters stop appearing if you do not kill the ones spawns on the right side after the second spawn-in. This strategy forces all your units to attack the boss instead of the enemies spawn on the right side, preventing more to spawn in.

I don't think so? The lost of attack speed from sub-skill for both of them would affect their dps significantly over the course of the fight, I would think. However if you have higher tier equipments or higher EX skill level then maybe? I am not quite sure.
Just a tip if you want star them up, buy their elephs from shop, they don't cost much since your units are only 2 stars, so each eleph cost 1 cube (don't remember what they are called) since this is most likely your first time buying them.
Tried several times, but no luck. Even when all of them are with T2 equipment, they die really fast. Like, the girl with shield is simply annihilated in tens of seconds. And that with 42 level account
And during second wave enemy spawns straight at centre and gets itself killed, which leaves only 2 enemies and triggers next wave

Reset 1: Yuuka reposition instead of tsubaki, letting tsubaki continue to damage one of the spawn on the right. Any mobs died on the right side that is not from the initial spawn is an instant reset, since killing them will spawn more enemies, increase damage on tsubaki and losing potential damage on the boss
Reset 2: For basically the same reason as the previous one, they were killing one of the mob on the right side that is not from the initial spawn
Reset 3: There is no third reset, because I win, but if there was a reset it would be because I let serika died at the end, losing a lot of potential damage

Serika has high dps, with her EX being quite low SP. I think a good substitute will need to be someone with high damage and also low SP cost, ideally explosive damage as well. Hina is a good option if she had been invested in quite a bit, otherwise I would say she is too expensive. Another option would be to try and get a lot of burst damage dealers onto your team. The strategy used in this video is using brain-off dps to deal damage. However, if you have several single target burst EX, that can be effective against the boss.

@@Yamichanpc My maid Asuna is 1 star, cuz I dont invest much for her, Yuuka 2 stars, the other red bullet students I got are Akari, Aru, Haruka, Kayoko, blue bullet students are Chise, Kaho (which have same lvl as me). Also I got Tsurugi (swimsuit), Izumi (swimsuit) and Suzumi (all these have 1 star) which I dont invest in them.
After doing a quick check, here are some things I noted for the students you got, assuming these are all available ones:
I don't think Aru would be viable because the terrain lower her damage, as well as her EX skill damaging the mobs spawn on the right side, which is something the strategy in this video avoid doing at all cost.
Akari might be okay, but her EX skill doubles the cost of Serika, and also do AoE, which requires you to pay more attention when you use it, as we do not want to kill any spawns from the right after the initial spawn. The fact that Akari EX is AoE also means that it will probably not be as good in term of single target damage compared to other burst single target EX.
I don't think Haruka is a good damage option since she is a tanker, and we already have 2 tankers in the fight, unless you want to switch her with one of the two.
For Kayoko, I don't think she would work either. Her EX skill have SP cost of 6, and the AoE is large enough to damage the mobs on the right once again.
Chise is okay, although she does not have explosive damage, and her EX cost is 4. Her damage in my opinion, is okay at best, so she is not an ideal option, but can be use.
Kaho flaw is that she have terrain disadvantage and her EX cost is 5, as well as not explosive damage. Terrain disadvantage is definitely her biggest problem I would say.
S. Tsurugi does sound good since she does good damage, however her basic skill damage 1 random enemy (to my knowledge), and being at 1 star means she does not have bonus attack speed, which does hurt her damage output quite a bit.
Suzumi is more of a support unit, stunning enemies units(at higher EX skill level), however this doesn't really helps since we want to focus on damaging the boss, not stunning any of the enemies neccessarily. She is also not a dealer, meaning that she will not do as much damage.
I would actually want to know what backline students you have as well, as some of them are very powerful and may be able to do more damage than your frontline. For example, if you want to somewhat follow the strategy in this video with a different comp, you can change hanae to someone like Minori, who is a very strong Explosive student with EX skill SP of 4, go up to 7, with progressively higher damage output per additional SP used. Her down side is that she do AoE and her basic skill is also AoE at a random target. Using her would also means that keeping the enemies on the right will not be as high of a priority anymore, and that you will want to burst it down as fast as possible while Tsubaki is still alive. You will also need to change one of your frontliner to a healer to heal Tsubaki.
Other good backline damage dealers alternatives would be Mashiro, which come with her own problems. S. Shiroko, which combo extremely well with Shun, as well as single target debuff the boss defense as boost your team's crit at the start of the fight. Azusa is almost perfect with the exception of her basic skill attack 1 random enemy.
You can also buy upgrades from shop, such as using Eligma, Expert Permits, etc. These should buff your preexisting students further if you are willing to spend your resources. These are just some of the things I thought of rn, so I am sure there are more ways for you to change your team to make it work.

If you kill the mobs on the right, it will spawn more. This strat basically forces everyone to be on the left and just shoot the boss, while Tsubaki tank all the spawns on the right. As long as the right side wave doesn't get killed, the enemy will spawn in only once and thats it
Damn I fight this thing it took me a week long to make it to lvl 39 from 15 and in the end after so many tried I still died lol even in the battle I won against it all 4 of my team died, I dunno who died first me or the boss or both at same time since i could see my Tsubski dead animation thanks to hibiki i could kill boss she dealt 130k while saori dealt 134k
Damn. Yea, having 2 healers was critical for me to keep Tsubaki alive. Losing any other students is also a killer since it decreases your cost recovery.

@Anonymous-fm5wm yea, Saint Barbara in volume 3 chapter 4, as well as several fights in volume F. Based on my experience, those fights are not hard if you are strong enough to beat Hieronymus here. The only exception will be Kuroko (spoiler, i.e., Shiroko Terror), but for her fight you can recruit units from your friend list, so you can have a level 87 in your team if any of your friend have one. For Saint Barbara, you need a decent team of Mystic attackers. The fights in Volume F, you will want students from severals schools, the fight will give buffs to students from a specific school.

@pxych2040 In the strat I used here that I stole from YonasCY, I don't think 2 tanks are truly needed. I you are using Dress Hina, I think you should be able to use just 1 tank, have potent healer 1 healer (like Kokona) to heal the tank off. Your back line should massively buff dress hina Crit damage, and then just go to town against the boss after buffing her at the beginning of the battle. At least that is how I have seen it at a lower level with dress hina

This is a video of someone beat the fight at level 27. They did it without using a healer (although I suspect their units are actually have high level skill). They used shun to give high initial cost boost, then insta buff D. Hina at 10 cost using Ako and Himari.
Ok update:
From what I could tell all their students are at 3 stars, except Hina who have 5. It is unknown if D. Hina have UE40 or UE50. Both their Ako and Himari's EX is only at level one, so my assumption regarding that is wrong. Shun's initial cost buff does seem to be at max level tho.
Edit: Hina have UE50 due to her terrain advantage at max. Her EX level I think is at 4.

I quit the game because of this. Well not only because of this level but because the rewards and rates are too bad. Didn't get that swimsuit girl everyone say is OP too. If a freaking gacha games becomes suddenly hard but not just hard naturally but with no explanation and suddenly and you have to use guides to understand wth is going on - it's quitting time. Damn, at least leave this stuff for engame or a special mode or something.

For those having trouble, the intial part is crucial
The goal is to get tsubaki near the middle, then move asuna up so she shoots the left side
The next part is the key step, when the boss spawns the next wave, you want to move tsubaki up even more, such that she starts shooting the boss instead, with at least 3 minions leftover
If you accidentally kill one, the minions will start spawning even if there are 3 on field, only the first spawn seems to work for the cheese
After that its simply a matter of keeping everyone alive while asuna and serika spam EX
I did this at Lv 38 with T2/T3 equipment, 1-2star units, was a few seconds short on Lv37 and took several retries to get tsubaki positioned right

It is strange that the game throws a random road block at you, but don't worry, there is no major road block until late volume F, and that one you can use request level 87 from your friend list, which completely trivialize the fight. Any other seemingly roadblocks can be fought over and over again until you win since the boss' HP remains permanently damaged after your previous fight with it.
