HI Sam, thanks so much for talking about my book and being so kind about it! So glad you enjoyed Lost in Music too, I've been revisiting that recently. I just got Robyn Hitchcock's book '1967' for my birthday.
@@jamesgriffithsmusic no worries at all James mate; it was a fantastic read and happily would revisit it in future; you done all the Squeeze fanatics absolute service with that wonderful achievement 🤩📚🍿🙌🎸🎶 I definitely happily read ‘Lost In Music’ again; I always have you to thank for discovering that Book through your inspiration self 😀 Hope you enjoy RH’s autobiography mate 😊👍
Brilliant video mate. Really enjoyed this one. Such a varied selection of reading. This will give me a good 10 mins worth of chat on this Sundays recording. When you said you had some Dr Who Target books my eyes lit up as i have a small collection of them from the 70s when i used to collect them. Can't wait to see part two of your book collection Sam and cheers for the shout outs 😀
Hey Tone; thanks so much for stopping by and for the request as I had such a great time going through my Book collection again 😀🙏🍿📚🎸🎶 Can’t wait to your next blog this Saturday mate; near caught up on your Saturday 10th edition 😀👍 Thanks so much for the shoutout again man and for the kind words in that blog; I can’t wait to do Part 2 of this side series and I certainly will have my DW Target Novel collection in the pipeline 😀💙🍿📚👌
@@jamesgriffithsmusic hey James; thanks so much for stopping by 😀🙏🍿📚🎸🎶 That is great high praise indeed; I always wanted to see the mighty Squeeze regardless; so should get to see them at some point down the line 😀👌
That is a great collection of books you had. I’ve always liked books, but like yourself I only really got in reading on a regular or continuous basis nearly 8 years ago. I actually have The Godfather and The Graduate and it has actually tempted me to read other Mario Puzo novels. What had a great script he did with Francis Ford Coppola for those two Godfather films. I would recommend reading Goodfellas by Nicolas Pileggi which was the source of the 1990 film - it may go under its original title of Wiseguys; Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King and Respect Yourself: Stax Records and the Soul Explosion by Robert Gordon, Sammy.
Hey Ian; thanks so much for the kind words and for stopping by 😀🙏📚🍿🎸🎶 I thought ‘Goodfellas’ may of had an novel that came before the film; thanks for those recommendations mate; I should of mentioned in the video about welcoming to Book recommendations; will do so in Part 2 😊 Absolutely love both GF 1 & 2; both films in my Top 20 of all time; the book is amazing; love the novel of ‘The Graduate’ aswell man 😀🍿📚
Absolutely wonderful video Sam! Great to see your book collection and tastes in reading. I've never read any Cormac McCarthy and I really need to rectify that. I also didn't know The Graduate was a novel at all, so might pick that one up at some point soon. I remember doing my year 10 book report on The Silmarillion, but I can't say I've read it since then, so I'm curious what I'd make of it these days.
@@goosesmovies hey Warren; thanks so much for stopping by 😀🙏🍿📚🎸🎶 Thanks for the kind words buddy; I had an absolute blast doing this video 😊 ‘The Road’ is the only Cormac McCarthy book I read; might read the book for ‘No Country For Old Men’ at some point mate 👍 I highly recommend ‘The Graduate’; fantastic novel Warren and not a long read by any means; not that you not read Sprawling books before; just thought I mention it is a great read with 211 pgs 😀 Wasn’t a fan of ‘The Simarillion’ unfortunately bud; I did struggle with that one 😂 May return to it one day Warren; thanks for the wonderful support mate; loved your video from yesterday 🙌
Hey Stuart; thanks so much for stopping by 😀🙏🍿📚🎸🎶 That’s absolutely fair man; different strokes for different folks 😊🙏🍿📚🎸🎶 Love Films more than Reading aswell; but do love to Read every now & then 👍 I had a fantastic weekend; hope you did too man 😀🙏
This will do very nicely for tonights viewing mate. Been looking forward to this one 😀
