This is a very helpful video. I have been considering USAFA and USMMA. This gives me a much better idea of how I should allocate my requests. I'm visiting Kings Point in August and can't wait.
This helps a lot thank you so much! I am doing USAFA for congressman and Cardin for USAFA and Van Hollen Westpoint, I see your on vacation and still helping thanks.
I was told that the senators and congressmen communicate to each other about the applicants, so you should not try to request for different Service Academy nominations from each because you'd essentially be lying about your top choice. If you are truthful and say that an Academy is your second choice and you already have a nomination for your first pick doesn't that drastically decrease your chances of getting that nomination?
Yes, some Members of Congress communicate with the US Senator's offices, and vice versa, but many act independently and will give out nominations which duplicate with the MoC's or Senators. I don't think there is anything untruthful about asking for a different top choice from other nominating authorities. If you are conflicted as to where you want to go that's understandable. Most Senators and MoC's issue their nominations around the same time so if you get nomination you will not be sitting on it long before another one can come in. REMEMBER you always can turn down a nomination so that someone else may get it. Thanks for watching.

I-day at USAFA today. Dropped the boy off early.
Congratulations! Good luck to your son!
