GREAT message, but this one warrants the title "Who Jesus Is"! He IS the Substitute AND the Savior - continuously. In dying, it's what He DID, initially, but His death made Him THE only acceptable sacrifice and our substitute and Savior. "Who Jesus Is," the first in this series, would fit this message as well, since He IS our Substitute and Savior, and that first message better describes what He actually did in fulfilling Isaiah's prophecy of healing and giving sight.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall never perish, but have eternal life. Do we, like God so love the world that we give Christ who is the way, the truth and the life so that whoever believes in Him may be saved? Give life to your family, friends and whoever is your neighbor and you give them the only way to be saved. To love the world means to share with them the gospel of salvation, to share Christ. Give them Jesus Christ and Him crucified!!
