Omg I love the black/white sweater with black dress pants. So classy. Reminds me of Dynasty tv show with Joan Collins, Diahann Caroll, Linda Evans. Elegant fashion.
No, I did fashion design, I know what you mean, but the facing is typically infused to the main fabric to create structure. The skirt section was fully lined with the same fabric so it didn't make sense the top lining stop above to breast area when the main fabric is fairly sheer, I've seen them leave the back sheer but cover the boobs😆
Your description of 80s fashion made me smile: classy with a hint of vulgarity! 😂 They were all great finds. Red is my favourite colour, but the black and white jumper (sweater) at the end was my absolute favourite.
Every single item looked so good on you! Not sure how long ago you thrift these items but I hope you kept that black jumpsuit! Every time you show something red I just smile, you look so gorgeous in red and you are constantly drawn to it😃
Some dress I don't mind upcycling but that dress is so pretty I don't have the heart 😅 also part of the issue is the top above the peplum where is has a little bubble thing going, good ol' 80's 😆 but so far I just tuck that part in and belt it😁
Great review and my favorite is the black sheer sleeves shoulder jumpsuit and I like how the pockets standout because it gives it an extra humph. I hope you still have it because it so much runway worthy. I really like all the jumpsuits, and the maiden librarian white lace collar neckline red dress looks like the dresses I wore back in the day, mine just did not fit like "Jackee" did on 227. I would love to see that jumpsuit styled again,
Yes, the first red dress is gorgeous on you with the red shoes, the 2nd red dress doesn't look big and lastly the lavender dress is gorgeous with a light purple belt. Great haul. Thanks
You’ve got to be kidding! I thought you had better taste! Someone gave me that red w/white collar (2) for a Xmas gift in the late 80s. Mine was a floral spring pattern. Ugliest dress ever!! And I was insulted that they would even think that was my style!! Little House on the Prairie!! In all due respect, that dress gives a horse and buggy’s vibe!😢❤
Wow... as a "grandma" I wouldn't expect this kind of tone, saying the words "with all due respect" doesn't cover up the fact that you were being due fully disrespectful... my style is my style, the people who understand that and can take inspiration from the channel stay and enjoy it, if its not for you you simply need to move along... with all due respect... I absolutely love that dress, still wear it, it's well made and I love styling it for Fall and Spring... you seem to be talking from a place of childhood trauma rather than a sense of style, regardless, you'll be ok...
@@modelimage please accept my sincere apologies. Forgive my dry sense of humor. I thought I was being funny and sarcastic, because 99% of the time, your selections and creativity is so sophisticated with a business casual feel. That was my style when I had my career. So when seeing the red dress with the big collar, it reminded of the dress I received. I’ve watched your videos bc your style is so similar to what I used to wear. So yes, I was surprised that you had chosen that piece since it was not the sleek, classic pieces that you show. Certainly, you are entitled to any selections you choose on your channel. The puffy sleeves and the large Peter Pan collar was not a good look for me. I’m glad you got compliments when you wore the red version. Peace🌹.
Loved all the pieces! I have a very similar vintage sweater that I thrifted!
Thank you! Love it😁
The jumpsuits are amazing!
Thank you!😊🧡
They all looked wonderful on you ❤
Thank you!!😁🧡

Dynasty is one of my first fashion inspiration, if I could dress like that everyday I would 😅😂😂
👍👍👍Yes, that was a cute haul. Loved everything. Even that navy jumpsuit (that was too big) looked amazing.🙂
Lol thank you! In the end it didn't fit as bad as I thought it would😁🧡
This was one of my favorite dresses. Older items have much better quality.
The structure and craftsmanship is excellent, love ☺️
The " lining" might be the facing 😊

How about turning the too-big dress into a peplum hem top? You look amazing in the red polkadot dress!

Thank you!😁 the dress had a little more fabric in the middle but I was able to tuck it in and belt it and that made all the difference 😁
