We love going to our local Bricks & Minifigs store in Austin, TX, so when we found out they had a huge buy-in of rare, vintage LEGO sets we had to check it out! These were sets my husband grew up with and I didn't even know many of them even existed. It was a lot of fun hearing my husband talk about which ones he had and how fun they were as a kid!
Definitely stop by to shop through the end of the month! These sets definitely won't stay on the shelves for too long - they're pretty cool!

Which sets do you recognize from your childhood? For Ross, there were so many!!
I remember obtaining some sets in the 4 digit number, like Lex Luthor Mech, a small black & white van, even a Persia set, they're amazing, I'd wish that Lego still made em come back, maybe even w/ improvements.
So many! I forgot how many of these sets I still own!! Thanks for the nostalgia

Well set 7573 is not really from my childhood but it came out right when I got into lego and I got it 100% complete from a friend's lego collection in 2015 when there mom was going to throw away there lego collection and my friends said to give me all the lego. So outside of the lego city sets this prince of Persia set is the only set I have complete still from my friends collection they gave me in 2015.
I still have my studios set from back then!
A bricks and minifigs vlog is always fun to watch.

I have a lot of those older sets still. That Shuttle that lit up and made sounds was one of my favorites. Still have it too.
This is exactly the sort of Lego content I enjoy - I will watch any videos that include old Lego shopping tbh.

Wow, I completely forgot about those Life On Mars sets. I had some of those and most of the early HP sets. Loved this trip down memory lane - another great video!!
3420 soccer field is so incredibly awesome. I played so much with it as a kid. One of the best of the best ever!

16:50 That mission control was my first and only lego set as a kid! I still have a bunch of the pieces. I used the ship visor in a little space-police ship I built just last night :) Great shop, showcase, and love the extensive Lego Lore lol
Definitely a nostalgia trip there, didnt have many sets when I was young but I remember seeing them on the shelves. Also totally go as long with the videos as you want. I'm pretty sure most of us are Ok with 2 partners especially with this older stuff we wont see all the time :)
I have an entire used Basketball set, only needs a couple of replaceable pieces clean and free. It was such a big find
There was a lotta nostalgia goin on for me. I HAD that Jango Fett Slave I, the OG Maul Sith Infiltrator, the Chamber of Secrets. And I DEF remember the sports-era, I had the streetball b-ball set AND the snowboard halfpipe competition
Hey, I just went there yesterday. I got a cool little speedor, frodo, and some bulk.
I was already an adult or at least a teenager when all of these sets were released so they're pretty vivid to me whether I own them or not thanks to the Lego catalogues I still collect to this day. Pre-Star Wars Space and Aqua subthemes are peak Lego for me and it's crazy to see there are some still in the wild NIB!
This popped up on my home page... and wow! There is so much nostalgia and a ton of dream sets! Absolutely amazing!

really nice video. my wallet is glad your local store is about 35oo kms and three time zones away. There was a lot there that was neat. I've still got all my stuff from my childhood. it's a LOT older that your stuff [train is set 113 or 112- I forget]. love those Life on Mars sets. I've been picking up/bricklinking the sets the last couple of years. the last one was the evacuation searcher. didn't build it yet, it's in the line to assemble. the aero tube set is interesting in that series as well. works surprisingly well. I'll have to build it after the searcher and hook them together. have a good one
I just say EBay and used LEGO is still good LEGO. Most of the Sets sell cheap used
I actually do have a Galidor posable figure, Nepol, the ice/yeti creature. I received it as a birthday present way back in 2002. I loved the TV show too.

They had so many awesome sets come in this week!
Would have loved to be interested in Lego when the Pirates of the Caribbean ships and Lone Ranger came out. Now they’re hard to find or outrageously priced.

Are the soccer team Minifigures actually prints? I know a lot of the sports theme Lego of that era used stickers on the chests of the minifigs

Wish I lived near a retired LEGO store...unless the aftermarket prices are too high.
The prices in those store unfortunately are way pricier than eBay or bricklink for example. I always try to find a cheap eBay auction to get a rare set. Got the old Venator that’s like 400€ for 60€ in a auction on eBay. I even snapped some old Sealed sets for under msrp on auctions. You just have to wait for the right one and get lucky

Just to add diversity i hate Andor. I had to google reviews after hating the first to skim through the third. Never went back. I get there's a specific target demographic but i already liked real star wars.
